  1. Hi guys, more progress today. I picked up the new rear tyres, 275s. So, the current rear tyres (245s) will go on the fronts and the 275s on the back. And then I have to raise the rear to accommodate the wider rubber. Yeah, @d3c0y no problem blending the paint, but silver is horrible, i have been told that by about elevenitybillion painters, the gunmetal grey is a bit easier apparently. @Lightmaster240z I live not that far from Leongatha so an hour from you... feel free to come round.
  2. Rear view mirrors just haven't been put back on yet. But there are lots of elements yet to be reinstalled. Totally decided against the g-nose. I want my car to be a little more unique.
  3. Nevermind. Just looked it up. I am on my biannual japan trip that day. I will be at the Classic Jap show on the 7th though.
  4. I would hope so. What date is the BBQ on?
  5. Not to question your work, but is it too hard to re cover the dash with vinyl once it has been repaired?
  6. Wow, what did the guards sting you?
  7. Time to put it back together and start some adjustments in the suspension and tyres
  8. +1 on the Supercheap Aerial. Great fit, looks the business and can't be faulted. You would probably have better reception too with the newer connection. I got a black one, but the stainless/chrome is available, also they sell a 3 meter cable if you like to replace that also.
  9. When mine is not in construction mode, it is driven pretty much weekends or for going out.
  10. Mmmmmm. Very nice rig there.
  11. Might actually see this thing back on the road this year
  12. And you could put washers in the standard arms?
  13. Oh excellent, that is also the distance mine is out. So the T3 will correct that 5-10mm?
  14. No Lurch, I meant caster, the rear wheels are hardly centered in the wheel arch and the drivers side is a few mm more forward when compared to the passenger side. I am aware they already offer toe adjustment which is good as my car toes in a degree or so on the rear.
  15. Does any one know if the techno toy rear control arms allow for caster adjustment? It doesn't say on the website. If not, do you guys know of any other product that allow for rear caster adjustment?
  16. I would have a z31. I would love one of those. Or are we assuming they don't exist either?
  17. Would you split it? I would take the fenders, cowl and bonnet...
  18. Currently they are 245 40 r 17 but I am swapping to a 275 as soon as I require new tyres. The front tyres are 225s and I think I might keep those as is. I got the rims dropped off at the wheel works today so I should see them next week.
  19. Well the wheels are a two piece welded item, so ten remove the centre by cutting the original weld out, machine the rim and polish it and then re-weld the face back in place in the new location using the same technique as was used when the wheel was made. It is $250 a corner.
  20. I am going to Eastern Wheel Works and they are changing the offset of my wheels to suit
  21. Excellent! Thank you. I shall give them a call tomorrow.
  22. I need to widen my rims or get new ones. Does anyone know where I can get an added 2 inches of width on my Meisters from in VIC? The wheels came up great and I even got new decals from the states for them in white. Next stop panel shop for flares and rust repairs.
  23. Looks great! Reminds me of when I was getting mine ready for reg. Keep up the good work.
  24. I am on my phone more often these days and it's too difficult to post. And I am waiting on more expensive and bigger parts that are all foreign so I have to wait longer for funds and postage.
  25. What do you want for the cowl?
