  1. Thanks guys!
  2. I am having a hell of a time finding a set of these. Has anyone got specs on the dimensions or a photo that I can make 1:1 scale to trace and cut my own???
  3. I am surprised by all this, because when my car (1976) was roadworthied and registered, both times it was inspected and I was never asked about my lack of emissions gear. It has just plain, never existed as far as the law is concerned. Even when I have had police look at the car, they have never asked about my lack of a pollution canister.

    Bump...
  5. I would like more info on the wheels and tyres. Can you email me stivva @ photomotive. Com. Au the specs on the tyres and the condition of the package (photos?)
  6. I may have grabbed the wrong picture. They also have 15x9 -13, so I may have grabbed that.
  7. It is softer, cleaner and a much better fit, there is absolutely no gap between in and the plastics, I trimmed the middle section inside of the car for a super flush fit.
  8. Well. I went straight to the company and the 15x10.5 are $750 AUD plus posyage so maybe even only $1000. That is a super cheap rim for that size and offset.
  9. Has anyone heard about Atara Racing wheels? These are 15x10.5 -32 and are about $1100 delivered to AUS. They look great have made me pause on my next wheel purchase.
  10. Best part is, the original radio is wired up and works, (sans speakers), but if tuned in the tune in light will come on, and the lights will come on with the headlights. And then, the Pioneer draws all its wiring loom from the correct wires in the factory radio loom.
  11. Correct, tweeters for the splits are flush mounted in the roof. I just need the factory speaker brackets to mount the other half of that combo. So, the only real visible speakers I have are the 7x10s and once i have grills for those, they will be less visible.
  12. I just need the black carpet up front now, and also time for a new steering wheel.
  13. Picture as promised
  14. Get a ps3 to pair with your tv. GT5 Wangan Mignight Midnight club Need for speed the run Need for speed shift need for speed shift 2 all have the s30 in them.
  15. I guess your little line under your avatar is null and void
  16. For Sale: Rota Alecia 4x114.3 15x9 - 10 Set of four Tyres: 2x Sailun 205/50r15 & 2x Kuhmo 195/55r15 The tyres are almost brand new. One piece of gutter rash... barely noticeable. The wheels will fit any s30 with or without flares. I used a large spacer with the flares to get them to stick out. $800 ONO THEY MUST GO!
  17. I have been busy of late. I moved the battery back into its rightful place in the engine bay. Dug up all the original wires in the centre of the dash and now have a working cigarette lighter and radio. Yep, my original hitachi radio works, but I have bypassed it and have a pioneer radio in my glove box. So it lights up at night when the headlights are on and the green reception light comes on when I have a signal, but my noise comes from the pioneer unit. I redid my roof lining, and I promise it will never ever sag. I cut a piece of 1ply to shape and builders glued the vinyl to it. So now the timber base can be removed but the vinyl trim wont sag from it. Looks better than new! I also started building the speaker spaces. 7x10s in the tool boxes, tweeters in the roof lining above the sun visors and 6 inchs in the factory locals. The only visible speakers are the 7x10s and even they are not intrusive. Also got my new diamond patterned vinyl for the transmission tunnel and that has really finished of the look of the interior bar one thing. Time to replace the carpet for OEM black. one bad thing though. I never realised how thin the Jtin really was. So easy to pin dent the roof... now I need to go to the panel shop for a roof repair. Pictures to come.
  18. Well. If everyone elses does this I guess it is normal. Weird, but normal.
  19. Well... I think I have broken something. They are working on ACC and ON and IGN.
  20. Question as per thread title. I never actually noticed before, but they are now... How should they work, I would imagine on ON/Start, but not ACC...
  21. Wouldn't the 33 be considerably heavier?
  22. Fuel Efficiency different much on the N/A and turbo?
  23. I really would be chasing a stock version of any of the models I was chasing, and also an N/A engine.
  24. I am looking to buy a new round about. My dad has taken control of the 200b, so I want a new zed. It has to be a four seater and I am tossing up between a s130, z31 or z32. I know that generally newer is better, but hear me out. I am really tossing up between the z31 and z32, but I really know my way around the L series engine so I think the 280zx is great for the low mechanical costs. I love the z31 and this is high on my list but the z32 is more refined however I am worried that the mechanical costs will be too high with the packed engine bay. Anyone has experience with any of the models can you give me the pros and cons. Budget is under 5k and all of the models can be bought for that.
