I had the car in at SW Motorsport again. This time they rebuilt the Carburettors fuel floats and a few other things. Doesn't really matter, but I drove it home and all was well, until I installed the 45kv coil for my electric distributor. Took the old bird for a spin after this and OMFG, I can not explain the difference in words. You really have to see the smile on my face. The car spins 1st and 2nd and chirps 3rd gear and each time it just throws you backwards in the seat.

No, the wires, colours, and plugs are all the same as the existing. I think it must be a dud switch.

Round two. Both headlight switches now work to a point where the tail and dash lights come on but not the hi low beams. The new indicator switch definitely turns the indicators left right switch into high beam on. So I guess. the headlight switch is not to blame here.

Ongoing now. I have purchased a new headlight stalk and indicator stalk. Both have been proven to be working be the sellers. I currently have everything working with my existing equipment except the headlight globes (dash and tail lights are fine). The wiring to the headlights are fine as I can bridge the loom inside the cabin to create light. Fuses are also fine. The globes are 60/55 and shouldn't blow anything. OK The new indicator stalk turns my indicator switch into the high beam switch so I can have high beam but not low beam and indicators. The new headlight switch makes me lose all lights and functions except windscreen washers. Does anyone have an idea at all???!!!!

I agree with the green sign on the wall. And I should have moved the trolleys, but there was a trolley truck just out of frame and I didn't want to mess with the guys stuff. I guess thats the bad thing about having your only day of when the shops are open, everyone is there shopping. So the car park was quite full.

Had a little bit of a photo shoot today on my day off. I am getting pretty good with the camera I think. I still think only 33% off my photos are not blurred, but you know what they say. "If you can't tie knots, tie lots".

I later found out my fitment problems were due to the tyre profile being to tall and it has been rectified by fitting lower profile tyres that more closely match the height of the standard tyres.

The engine is nearly back together. It is currently at Stewart Wilkins as he is across the road from my house lol. They are going to rebuild it, tune it, and dyno it. I also have an Electric dizzy now so I am happy with that.

Is the thread for the crank pulley a reverse thread or a normal thread??? I am removing the front engine cover and need to take the crank pulley off first.
