Would anyone happen to have photos or details of how the radio is mounted inside of the centre console? What are the brackets and bolts used??? I have looked everywhere and cant find a diagram anywhere?

I now have original door trims and an original radio, but I need the bracket that holds the radio in and the knobs for it... can anyone help me?

Just a quick update. I picked up the z emblems for the rear quarters today. They look so great brand new. I also have that last Nissan badge on order and the fairlady Z dash badge arrived and is in. Swapped out a broken tie rod end.and gave the car an alignment, much better. I am waiting on a few things in the post, and from the panel better, but I will do a full photo update when those things happen.

Yeah, those photos are a few weeks old, I have that badge on and only have one external,badge to go which is the Nissan badge I was chasing in another thread. But that has since been found and I just need to wait on that and the dash badge come in the mail.

So I got my new brake callipers in the mail and am very excited about that. I always have sent the rear bar in for paint and will be bolting that on shortly. I have installed the new centre console and gear knob and boot, looks fantastic! As well as installing the new gutter mouldings so thanks to everyone I have received parts from recently. I also took the car out for a night spin tonight without having to hardwire the headlights and with all my indicator lights in tact, so that means my auto electrician did a good job. Now I am chasing the factory radio and door trims once they go in, the interior is going to be a-whole-nother story. I want the car to be like a time machine, looking fresh as (trendy) on the outside and once you enter the cabin, it will be a completely different story. Also popped into the Northern Road wreckers today (I just happened to be passing by) and there was a 280zx there with rear brakes, I asked for a price and he casually said $300...... not sure if he expected to sell these soon.

Could be??? Who's is this? I also have the option of this: One is a 260z radio and one is a 280z radio Obviously I would have to create a match of the 260z radio with 280z knobs and faceplate... But I also have to purchase from the states.

Information is as follows, They are made by Gecko wheels Australia, but Gecko wheels do not do custom sizes for small orders unless you are a company or something. So, I know of a company that does operate with Gecko, but only do orders for a minimum of 20 wheels. So at this stage we are looking at 16x10 -40 I believe, or there a bouts. These will fit on car with ZG flares (with a couple of mm of poke on 0 degrees camber. I do need definite numbers, postage will be to your door, and a deposit will be required after we confirm the order with the company.

Often words appear in Roman characters or Romaji purely because it is cool. There is nearly always a translation to Japanese, but it's like a logo to,have a word in English, it stands out, and reaches a larger crowd. Japanese unlike English is only a dominant language in Japan. Having things in English means it can reach an audience outside of Japan. What most people don't realize is that romaji is a style of writing in Japan and features in newspapers and where numbers are used. But so are Chinese characters. And if you were reading Japanese you are reading two types of Japanese, Chinese and romaji most if the time in one text. But as far as signs or badges go. Looks cool.

Great idea with the spotlights. I was trying to work out where to mount them, I want to put square fog lights behind my grill. Good work with the car overall.
