Thanks for the input so far, a 260 one will not fit. I had one but must've lost it when moving. Still on the hunt:)

Hello Chaps As mentioned I'm after that plastic cover which goes over the map light. Happy to buy one off you if it can be chucked in an envelope to QLD. Many thanks.

They say power comes from the head, well here's some for cheap! N42 professionally ported head. Intake and exhaust (intake 35mm at head face) smoothed out and larger. Brand new intake and exhaust valves (Nissan intake and either Crowe or Performance aftermarket exhaust). Heavy duty valve springs (standard 4.0, these are 4.2). Head height slightly shaved off standard 108 by 0.2. All new valve seats and guides. Suits internally oiled cam. Been wrapped in plastic until tonight to take pics. Spent 2200 on work performed as above, this would arguably be a 2500 job off the street. $1250.00 P.S. sorry for the head bend!

Okay my bad, they are 260 struts, thats clear now:) Master cylinder gone - thank you djh260.

This is great news mate, looks like excellent 240. The wait is over!
-
I'm no expert here but these struts certainly are not 55cm. The pic attached earlier shows OD to be more like 52 and ID 50?
-
Hi Gilltech Mate I've attached some pics as this might be the easiest way to know if the struts suit you. These look brand new, other than the patina dust! Hi CraigZ Can post to Adelaide no problem, pretty good with cardboard and tape! Did you want the 240 stubs also?

Gilly! Shizen sorry for the late reply! I'll check and get back to you if still interested?

Hello All For sale are a set of Simmons V4's, rare. In 16" even rarer. It is with regret that I have to sell these as my first Z had them many years ago. 7.5 front and 8 rear with what I think is near perfect dish. S30 set up that has no rub, was standard struts with 1" lower King springs on 225/50 rubber all round as shown. I waited over a year for these and always received comments of how classy and tuff they looked, however you be the judge. Ordered two extra wheel caps with the wheels for spare. Never like selling something I cannot replace and these are pretty special, as a result don't buy them! $2500 Get them before I let the RX7 boys onto them.

Cheers guys, 240rubberparts has some good stuff, would like to just buy the lot! Checked the usual haunts before asking the forum, although it may be where I end up...

Hi Yall Hoping someone out there can dip into their zed reserves and have the following spare: - Interior map/reading light shroud (had one but can't find the flipping thing now); - Left and right sun visors (fitted the drivers side but the passenger visor seems to not fit. Really only need passenger but will take both if it makes things easier). So there we have it, not the end of the world, but would help me out and keep the project moving along. PM me with prices and we can sort it. Cheers Z

Seeing as the car is up and the majority of underneath is being upgraded, it made the fuel tank look a little average. It was a little difficult getting it out, but after removal it was easy to see that the fuel sender was shot, and a refirb would make a difference. After dropping the tank in to a local specialist, it was decided that Redi-Coat was not needed as the tank was in very good condition internally. A three step dipping process was done and the tank was re-sprayed. There were a few minor dents under the tank that could not be removed due to their location and the baffling within the tank, but it adds character! Powder coated the straps silver and replaced the rubber insulating with a thicker rubber, as the originals looked pretty thin.

I've seen this car a few times, spent a long time in the open.
