  1. More like the fumes doing their thing I think. LMAO
  2. Zed I may have a spare................. And they didnt tell the hole story, Mick must have a need for speed and a sense of direction based on lingering hi-octane fumes, they were supposed to take the turn off on the Calder at keilor Melton road but kept going till they reached the BP station at Calder Park raceway. I get a call saying we are at the BP on the Calder and are just sorting out our directions, so I jump in the car to meet them there, its a wonder they didnt get a hankering to try out old Bob's track while they waited for me. Luckily I guess Mick was in an old LPG Triton, if it was one of the Zed's I doubt he waould have passed up the opportunity. LMAO
  3. Tokyo Rose After the war time American born Jap chick who used to run radio propaganda radio slots of an evening direct from Tokyo trying to break down American G.I. soldiers moral throughout the Pacific Theatre of war. The G.I.'s nic named her Tokyo Rose.

  8. Thanks Lurch, But have found a Redline here in Aus brand new for $350.00 delivered already, just wanted to see if any one had a SH unit laying around first. I'm kickcing myself though as I missed a triple 45 set up on a Cannon manifold with linkages etc ready to plug and play for US$306.00 on Ebay as I fell asleep on the bean bag at 3am. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320358155191&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&viewitem=
  9. Hi All, Scored a couple of Weber 40DCOE's and am now in the hunt for a manifold. Cheers John

  12. Hey Galderedi............... Did you ask me the question about the ECU for the L20 on Ebay?
  13. Hi All, Smart Arse here (I hope I'm not putting ppl off with my posts) These are the seats in my parting out Ford Probe that I installed when the factory drivers seat collapsed, they are out of a 2002 Celica that I picked up from a Toyota wrecker, I'm thinking of using these in My Z project. Nice and thin like the original Z seats, have full adjustment, plus have a side hand mechanism, and additional rear foot mechanism to allow it to fold forward so they would be good for 2 seaters or 2+2's. Just an idea of course. I paid $150.00 for them in mint condition, the side airbags built into the seats went off so they were worthless to the wrecker, I cut the bags away and re-secured the air bag trims which just pop off when they deploy. Cheers John
  14. Hey Lurch, If I PDF this entire manual, could you guys (Moderators) set up a post that can only be added too by yourselves so we dont get endless streems of dialogue in it but where we can load documents re-service repair etc etc etc? I have a Bocsh EFI manual that covers all the 70's / 80's Nissan Injection systems including wiring diagrams which could really help a lot of ppl who are looking at L28 Injected / Turbo upgrades etc.
  15. Thanks Lurch ! At last, a family that actually wants me............
  16. Mental note: Lurch enjoys hanging out with children at birthday parties and Jane is into pony's, must keep an eye out when passing front yard kiddy birthdays and see if I can spot a 7"0' tall block head in a tight tux with bow tie on the back of a pony being led around by the reins by a 20 something year old chic with a bunch of screaming kids running around a 260 and 280 parked in the driveway. Hey sounds like a regular Saturday afternoon scene in Melbournes Western burbs.......... No I dont do Birthday parties and pony rides !
  17. Will start tomorrow.................. John
  18. If there is enough interest on here, I could run it through the laser copier at work which will scan it to a PDF document, that way we can make it available to all the members?
  19. Guys, I purchased them and he is shipping to me with insurance. I will now have a spare set of rear moulds as I needed the front set. Cheers John
  20. I have the original "NISSAN" factory manual for the 2 and 2+2 seater 260Z, so if there is anything else anyone needs just drop me a line, its a lot more detailed than the average Haynes manual. Cheers John

  23. Hi, I used a pump from a VL Commodore (They ran the 3.0L Nissan 6) on my turbo set up with a pressure regulator, worked great and never missed a beat, not sure what they are worth now but I remember paying around $150.00 for it new from Holden, its a good round size and you can use a Coil bracket to mount it, just use some thick rubber washers at the base to allow it to flex when primimg. Cheers John
  24. Mick Have emailed you at your email address with contact info. Cheers John
