  1. Also that bracket on the inner skirt near the engine bay inspection light makes me think its not an early car or has had panels replaced.
  2. 240z metal fan http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240Z-engine-cooling-fan-1970-OEM-viscouse-coupling-/321878437472?hash=item4af1732e60
  3. Well done!!! If you feel like selling a car or two PM me !!!
  4. The white car is LHD so I would guess it wouldnt be Australian delivered car.
  5. Jason, you should do a for sale post of your car with all the specs and some photos. It would sell much easier. Maybe put it up on my105.com for sale too. There are lots of guys that potentially would buy your car but are not on this forum.
  6. 1973 240z in WA - $9,000.00 http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/nollamara/cars-vans-utes/1973-datsun-240z-coupe/1087443341
  7. I am in for $25
  8. Post them up, would love to see them!
  9. Good spotting there. I totally agree its the same car. The reason the plates are different is because NSW to VIC rego. Both cars having 54000 miles and also both side door mirrors the same etc makes me think its the same car. In the ad when it was 30k it does say say it comes with original steel wheels and hubcaps.
  10. I think you are right, i noticed that the wires from the two white plugs were pushed out at some stage and reconnected to the plug. Now that i think about it it was probably a 260z part a previous owner changed the plug to suit the 240z harness. I have a few spares so ill fit a 240z one back on. Thanks everyone!
  11. And you are right, there is a bullet plug that plugs into the headlight switch, that is the other black bullet plug that you can see in the above photo.
  12. Hi Dimitri, thanks for your reply. I think this stalk must have been swapped over at some stage and might be off i am guessing a later 240z, maybe a 73 model or something because at the end of the stalk bit it has a button that pushes in, i am assuming to flash the high beams maybe? I took a look at two other early 240z that i have and they dont have that wire or the button at the end of the stalk either. So i think ive work it out!
  13. Hi all, trying to work out where the white-black wire coming out base of the indicator switch/stalk goes. Ive looked at all the google images but cant still work it out! In the photo its the black wire with no plug on the end of it. Thanks, Cuong

  22. Hi Scotty well done on getting yourself a 2 seater. I saw your car at Martin's place last week when he was making up the engine and gearbox mounts. You have a long road ahead of you that's for sure!!! Good luck with the move and look forward to reading about your build.
  23. Sorry the first two pages are sideways for some reason. Maybe one of the moderator can edit the post and spin them? Here is the rest of the article. There is also a road test for the Datsun 1600 if anyone is interested i can take photos of those pages too.
  24. Hi all. I received this magazine with my newly aquired 240z and i thought it may be of interest to others on here too.
