Went to Wakefield a couple of weekends ago. The Zed was a bit of a handful, since I still haven't touched the suspension or brakes (had an epic spin into turn one). Also had a mystery fuel leak from the filler and the recently-rebuilt box kept popping out of third gear on decel... just my list of excuses for only doing 1:12 laps I'll head down again once the issues are sorted. Here's a pic from the local snappers at Wakefield.

These head castings have been sitting around at OS Giken for years. The first time I went to the factory 8 or 9 years ago they were stacked up in a corner. Don't know why they suddenly decided to use them.

Good question, but I'll decide once I get the new bits from OS. I do have a 240K GT sitting in the corner of the shed waiting to be turned into a Ken Mary replica (GC110 GT-R)

To give you an idea the RB30 crank from OS Giken retails for $7700. The pistons are quite reasonable at $1400, not sure about the rods.

This is a very exciting new product coming soon from OS Giken. The stroker kit for L-series 6-cylinders will offer 85mm stroke and 88mm bore for around 3103cc capacity. I have no pricing or other information yet, but I will post it up as soon as I know. In the meantime Kameari do offer a similar set-up, using a modified LD28 crank to get 85mm stroke, 138mm conrods and 89mm pistons (29mm pin height) for 3171cc capacity. The OS Giken crank will be a much more impressive item, most likely a full-counter-weight billet type, suited to much higher rpm. The conrods appear to be similar to the forged chrome-moly H-beam type in the OS Giken RB30 engine. I better stop writing now...

I haven't personally tested them back to back so I can't really comment on this. OER claim they are better and the other comments here seem to confirm this.

I will get these made in about two months. We will have to use 70mm ID springs to suit.

OER claim to have improved fuel atomisation compared to Webers and offer a huge range of jets etc.

Sorry no boss kits yet. They will fit a Nardi boss, but as you mention a short one is preferable. As for the old school rims please see the post about this. PM me if there is a specific Rota rim you want. Cheers

New product I just got in, unlike most weld-on coilover sleeve kits on the market these come with springs AND helper springs AND spanners. Everything you see in the pic is one set, which is $299. Two pairs for $500. The 51mm sleeves to suit 240Zs (front or back) come with a choice of 4kg or 5kg springs (224lb or 280lb). I can also supply other rates if needed. The top spring locator has a small 8mm hole so it can be drilled out to suit your struts. Other than that you should just need a few washers to make everything sit right. PM me if you want a set.

Rota Grid These are 16x8 +10 offset, 4x114.3 PCD in the bronze colour pictured or metallic black or white for $279 a wheel. Wheel weight is 8.21kg. The hub size is slightly small on the front, but they will fit using a 3mm spacer. Alternatively you could machine the wheel or the hub slightly to make them fit perfectly. To save anyone asking, no they don't come in any other size, offset or colours. Through one of my contacts in Japan I can now source O.E.R. products like the 6-throttle injection kit I'm using on my car. This kit is available with 45mm throttles or 50mm throttles. The kit includes the throttle bodies, manifold and linkages. Additional parts like injectors, fuel rail, air filters and throttle-position-sensor can be supplied at extra cost. The 45mm throttle-bodies are designed to take one injector per throttle (6 total on the L6 kit) while the 50mm throttles can take a second set on the underside if needed (for example if using methanol fuel). 45mm throttle body kit for L6 $2700 50mm throttle body kit for L6 $3700 For anyone interested in triple carburettors, I can also supply the chokeless O.E.R. Racing Carburettors, which are available in 45mm, 47mm and 50mm. An L6 manifold is available to suit these carburettors (right up to the 50mm type). The 50mm carburettors aren't cheap, but if you've ever priced a 50DC0E Weber you'll know these are actually good value.
