  1. I have one but I need it for my C110. Restored don't do them but I can source one for you if you want. PM me
  2. Turbo cars invariably run better mph than atmo cars thanks to the extra midrange torque. My 1JZ 240Z also ran 12.5 at 114mph with 200kW at the wheels. Atmo Hondas in the States often run 11s at less than 110mph. They are more realistic cars to compare mine to than anything with a turbo. If anyone else wants to post about this kindly put it in the drag racing thread and not on my build thread.
  3. The Moroso speed calculator is a useful thing, but it doesn't take into account four gear changes. I agree the top speed was a bit low on the night, the car did feel a bit flat at the top of the revs, which it doesn't normally. Possibly dud fuel, but anyway I'll take it out again soon with the better gearing to see what improvement there might be.
  4. Holy Cow
  5. It is possible, but I would have to pay the factory US$10k for each new mould, so I would need to be very sure of selling them
  6. At today's exchange rate it is just under $2000 delivered. Hopefully the A$ will improve a bit soon.
  7. Anyone searching for some high-end Japanese parts? I can supply the new OS Giken super-lock 1.5-way LSD centres to suit 240Z type R180 diffs and OS Giken single and twin plate clutches for L-series engines. Thanks to the dollar turning into a peso they aren't cheap, but they are good. Can also supply Kameari and OER parts like manifolds, gaskets, close-ratio gearsets and as I've mentioned before, fibreglass and carbon parts from restored.jp I don't mean to push my business too much on the forum, but if you're having trouble finding this stuff I can help. Cheers
  8. I take it you're putting something else in it now?
  9. Here's 15x7 front and 15x8 rear. The tyres are too small (195/60 front and rear) but that's all I had lying around. I would suggest 205/60 front and 225/55 rear if you can get them.
  10. Just tried a variety of wheels on my car. 15x7 front and 15x8 rear fits well. 16x7 front and 16x8 rear (pictured) fits very well and looks good too. the 16x8 needs a 4mm spacer to clear the hub at the front but the centre cap still won't fit on. 17x8.5 will bolt on at the front without a spacer, but you would need very stretched tyres to clear the spring (or coilovers) so again a 4mm spacer makes things easy and the center cap will fit. Rota Grid 16x8 +10 wheels will bolt straight on at the front but again the wheel is very close to the spring so a spacer will allow you to fit a decent tyre size (or you could change to coilovers).
  11. Since I just sold three sets of 17x8.5 I have only one set of these left, but everything else there is plenty of stock.
  12. $60 each in a single colour, don't know about the red rim bit
  13. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,3142.0.html As you may already have seen on the above post, I have Rota RB wheels to suit Zeds in stock. In fact I have a few too many of them in stock right now, so I'm offering a special deal for forum members. If you PM me through the forum to order, I will give you free freight (within Australia) and the following discounted prices: 15x7 +4 $175ea 15x8 +4 $195ea 16x7 +4 $220ea sold out 16x8 +4 $245ea 17x8.5 +4 $280ea 17x9.0 -13 $300ea 17x9.5 -19 $310ea These prices are only available while current stock lasts.
  14. Cheap front guard for Z32. I also have Targa panels available for $40 pair. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-Z32-300ZX-driver-side-front-guard-with-indicator_W0QQitemZ300292816171QQihZ020QQcategoryZ29695QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
  15. Don't machine the wheel, this will bring the tapered part of the hole too close to the hub face, so it may crack at the edge. I agree with Lurch, just roll the lip. Here's a number of someone who can do it cheaply: 0404 081 116
  16. They are 4 and 5 x 114.3, there is 26mm behind the spoke measured from the hub.
  17. Some pics of current stock
  18. New stock in store now for those seeking the old-school Japanese look: www.otomoto.com.au/photos.htm scroll down for the smaller sizes
  19. 205 on the 8 will fit, not sure about 225 but 205s will have less tramlining etc anyway
  20. They retail for $1116 a set. If picking up I can do some sort of cash price, likewise on the RBs
  21. Yes, with 205/55 tyres
  22. For pricing please refer to our website. Unfortunately I can't do the prices listed at the start of this post any more. I kept the first shipment at those prices as a matter of good will, but I had to put the prices up a bit this time around. Still pretty good value I think at $828 to $1416 a set. Cheap freight of $20 a wheel still applies anywhere in Australia. The Rota Grid 16x8 +10 will fit the front of a Zed with a 4mm spacer, so the 16x8 +4 Rota RB should fit without one. I'll check this on my Zed next week. Have only two sets of Grids in stock now, bronze and metallic black. Have some more coming in about 8 weeks. Have plenty of the RBs in all sizes. Here's the wheel page: www.otomoto.com.au/showroom.htm Also have a few more used wheels coming in next week, so keep an eye on this page: www.otomoto.com.au/photos.htm
  23. We have had no issues with any of the Rota wheels we have sold in the last three years. I think these 'exploded' wheels are the result of damage to the back of the spokes, rather than weakness in the wheel itself. There is usually more to the story than the owner cares to admit in these cases. On a lighter note, we have all of the RB sizes in stock again
  24. Our next shipment of the 17-inch sizes and 16x8s should be here around January 19, see www.otomoto.com.au for more info
  25. 16x8s should be in some time in January. I would suggest 195/55 or 205/55 front and 225/50 rear if you have 16x7 front and 16x8 rear.
