  1. Chasing a few parts now. If anyone has an aftermarket manifold laying around for a cleveland (doubtful) i would snap it up. Oil relocation, spark and fuel are all that it needed to fire. Cleaned the valve train, exhaust is on for good and everything else is torqued to spec.
  2. Vivek had one as well!
  3. Meh, i do what i can. Really want it ready for the BBQ this year. John, refer to the first build page which will explain the name of the vehicle. More progress, the alternator is fitted from a VS V8 Statesman and has had the front cover changed to suit the ford motor. Fuel and brake lines are back on, Diff, Halfshafts and Tailshaft are in and exhaust has been fitted. Seeing as it came with the $200 conversion kit i bought i was expecting to have to modify it. Turns out it is one of the best fitting exhausts i have ever seen and just needs a rear muffler and tip to complete it. It fits really tight up to the underbody.
  4. Hey i just dove into the 2+2 parts i was given by a Melbourne member and there's a set of radio knobs in there.
  5. Gee you're up early. I fitted another fuel door to my 2+2 and had to bend it to fit.
  6. Perhaps i could assist too?
  7. First i tried various methods (Pic 1). Then Hired a photographer.
  8. Had another clearance issue but looks to be sorted now.
  9. Here it is. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-351C-IDA-WEBER-MANIFOLD-/180977280365?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2316256d
  10. Dalee has an L28 under his house that i gave him, just the bottom end. Not sure if he's willing to part with.
  11. I have an Edelbrock combo to start with but some heat out the bonnet is something i always wanted to do. There's a quad cleveland manifold on ebay atm!
  12. I just realised that it's only going to be a week or so before i can fire this I'm liking this.
  13. That one is very low. I am suspecting broken, worn ring with ovalish bores. Time for another on unless you want to spend $1600 machining the one you have.
  14. Bozo (Sam) was running them. I imagine it would run much like a Jag
  15. Lets all watch the Powerball draw this week and whatever number comes up we'll make it that date :-\
  16. Just landed this from Harbor Freight Tools in the states http://www.harborfreight.com/230-volt-spot-welder-45690.html Thought i might be a test dummy for others that may be interested in purchasing, cost $345 for me but an order can be up to 150 lb (the unit packed weighs around 25 lb) so it may have the potential of a group buy. I tested it yesterday and it's very strong, i will also be putting it through it's paces in the next few weeks. Been watching similar units on ebay go for $460 + postage.
  17. They look great I was quoted $350 locally to make one bottom side, not so How is your rear tail light interior trim? I have a brown one here in near perfect condition.
  18. Yea, but i won't get fined for it. After finishing the rust repairs on Vivek's 240Z and then starting another 67 Mustang fastback i squeezed in some time to build another sump and revise the front mounting cradle to get everything sitting just where i want it. This engine is now in permanently. I need to do surprisingly little more work to have this project running and driving. Another fuel tank and engine bay wiring loom are at the top of the priority list.
  19. Sounds good! Count me in.
  20. Maybe Dimitri has one, he has one of everything else at least.
  21. Sorry my mistake it was the red 240 of dalee. He is feeling a bit ill but i may be able to assist.
  22. Yes Dales has them! It's on the front cover of the latest NDSOC mag.
  23. Hmmm brings back painful memories of the rust repair i did on my 2+2. Painful because my 2 seater has to wait even longer. They're good when they are rust free but. Looking forward to more pictures.
