Hey guys, let's pause for a moment today, thankful for the high price that was paid to keep our country free. Whilst we can all have a whinge about our pollies and the price of petrol, unlike many other countries we are FREE. That fight for freedom started with the ANZACS and still continues today. The military history of Australia spans our nation's 220-year modern history. Although this history is short when compared to that of many other nations, Australia has been involved in numerous conflicts and wars, and war and military service have been significant influences on Australian society and national identity, including the Anzac spirit. The relationship between war and Australian society has also been shaped by the enduring themes of Australian strategic culture and its unique security dilemma. As a British colony, Australia participated in Britain's small wars of the 19th century, while later as an independent nation it fought in the First World War and Second World War, as well as in the wars in Korea, Malaya, Borneo and Vietnam during the Cold War. In the Post-Vietnam era Australian forces have been involved in numerous international peacekeeping missions, through the United Nations and other agencies, including in the Persian Gulf, Rwanda, Somalia, East Timor and the Solomon Islands, while more recently they have also fought as part of multi-lateral forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. In total, during the course of these conflicts nearly 103,000 Australians have died They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Rev.

Hi guys, Listing these cars for a friend. 1. 1974 2+2, with 95 % of rust repairs done (cut and plated) with rear bumperless look. This was an auto car that is ready for a manual conversion. Most interior parts are included or can be transferred from other car. The beauty of the 74 is that it is a 'pre emissions' model which gives much more freedom of motor setup. 2. 1975 2+2. complete 5 sp manual with full interior, could easily be restored but it has a 'rag top' (which doesn't leak!) In my opinion this would make a great donor for the 74. In summary this would make an easy resto for anyone wanting to get something with the hard work already done. $4500 for quick sale (and you get both cars!) Call Rev on o4o962o443 for details.

Oh Man, sorry to hear that Simon. Hope that you are able to get the new build going soon. Rev.

Looks great John...and no I wouldn't look down on you, that's for the religious people, the same ones that scolded Jesus for healing on the sabbath! I'm just glad that you took the time to consider what the day is about! Bless you man, Rev.

sounds great! I'd like to suggest another component, we could do it and support a charity at the same time with getting sponsorships etc and collecting along the way. It just so happens I know of a charity that works with childhood victims of abuse who always needs help. Just a suggestion, it's great if we can have an event and give back to the future of our country. Rev

I'm happy to go with whatever, date wise, I guess we just need to settle on it. I've spoken to Simon and it's far enough out that he can make sure that weekend is available.
