  1. Hi , take it in and have it looked at, they are easy to rebuild and does not cost that much, from memory mine cost 180 and you have a fresh starter again, dont waste your money on second hand as you can end up with the same problem. Cheers Tony
  2. Big thank you for your best wishes, its 600pm now wind is coming on stronger, still another 5 hours before it hits, around 11 pm, they are saying we can expect high cat 3 or low cat 4 winds here in townsville and around 1 metre of rain, 2 to3 metre storm surge. spent the morning boarding up the windows, only house in the street to do so. could not believe how many people are not taking it seriously, mostly new people from down south, comments like it is only cat3 wind, 170> 224 kph , cat4 225>279 kph, well I think they will be thinking different in the morning, power is flicking off and on so do not know how long we will have it for. Thank you all again for the kind wisher, Tim and I will keep you posted when we can. Cheers Tony
  3. Hi Tim, I use NULON SAE 90 which is API spec GL-5 / GL-6, it meets all euro, aust, jap, brit, usa specs, I use it in the skyline as the Z is a non lsd r200, you know what r31 diffs are like, it quietened it down a fair bit. Cheers Tony
  4. You are making me jealous, Now that I am on a break for Xmas, I will have to get the MSD sorted and get mine going. Be interesting to see a turbo against the LS, But I think it will be a no contest. Cheers Tony
  5. You can run rb30 injector out of a r31 skyline or vl commodore. Cheers Tony
  6. Having been their I know how dark it can be, Unfortunately some do not see the light around the corner, there is also the embarrassment, so many do not speak about it because you fear others will think you are weak , But as stated by other on this site we have been there and came back, so can you, you just need to talk to someone. R.I.P mate. Tony
  7. Peter, that would be good if you did that, as it would make it a easier option for those going the power steering option. Cheers Tony
  8. Peter, If you get the time could walk us through what you needed to do to fit the bmw rack, and confirm it was a 318 97 model. Cheers Tony
  9. Good to hear it is working out for you, appreciate the effort. Looking forward to buying a set. Cheers Tony

  12. JDM Galant vr4, 1970 Dodge Challenger 426 Hemi, BMW 635 csi. Doesn't cost to dream.

  16. I run a n42 combo l26 turbo with standard compression 8:3:1 low boost 7psi all standard nissan efi gear; computer, turbo etc, although it has vl injectors hypertechnic dished pistons , grant rings and bearings. I have run this now for 6 years it goes like a cut cat and I have never had any problem with it, so if you don't go silly with high boost you will have a car that will give ample punch when you need it and will embarass crumbledoor, ford and wrx owner. It will give you a good starting point. cheers Tony
  17. Hi Garvice what would you be looking at for the turbo. Cheers Tony

  25. Hi Ray, I have a l26 efi turbo, I am also here in QLD, and i run a pod filter, it used to have a well made home made airbox which sat between the radiator support and the grill. And yes It is illegal in QLD to have a pod filter, but is a much simpler set up. Cheers Tony
