wasnt a ZX, didnt get to see plates, im pretty sure ive seen this car before and if you havent been in town long then its probably not you. nevermind ill just have to keep an eye out for you before you change your plates

no idea mate. On a purely mechanical side of things everything in the engine bay shouldnt be a problem as its L-series to L-series, but i think you would have a bit of problem hooking things up in the cabin. You might be better off looking for someone willing to part with a factory setup, or do a search down in the technical section under interior and see if anyone has modified other setups to fit. I considered removing my factory one at one stage, but living in North Queensland it is sort of a necessity(sp)

The lever there is for your choke, should be attached to two cables that go into the engine bay and attach to your SU's. The light is supposed to have a switch on the back of it to turn it on and off, thats the light in the engine bay that is loooks like yours has broken off... Clock and voltmeters not working is a common problem and easiest fix would probably be to replace them, some of the hoarders on here probably have some working ones that they may be able to part with for the right incentive. The two random wires on your firewall i have no idea from just looking at them, try to trace them back to their source. Its probably just a psychological thing your brain is telling you its bigger because you know the engine displacement is bigger.

Hey guys, im looking at doing a coilover conversion for my 2+2 and im looking at options. Im really interested in the HSD kits that benzed is selling but as he doesnt have one for the 2+2 yet (55mm) im looking at getting a set of the 51mm gear and putting them onto a set of 240k struts i have left over from my 510 days. Now what im wondering is if there is any downside or impossibility to fitting 240k struts to a 260z 2+2? Havent really done a great deal of research, done a few quick google searches, but have been told 240k struts will bolt straight into a 2+2 no drama. The other reason im leaning towards the 240k items is i can do all the mods, refurbish the struts etc without taking my car back off the road (again) for an extended period of time while i do the mods. If its a stupid idea let me know and ill just wait for Ben to come up with the 55mm jobbies for the standard 2+2 kit. Thanks in advance guys Smurf

I too have the crane conversion done to mine.. works well and at around $250 (running off memory) is, IMO, a better choice then a dirty old ZX dizzy but to each their own
