  2. I don't think many run 14'' rims anymore, I have 7''x14'' and am running 215/65/14 on the front and have about 10mm gap between the tyre and the spring perch, maybe you could pick up an old tyre and do a test fit to make sure before spending the big dollars on the wrong size. Cheers Tony
  3. Congratulation and welcome to the Z community. Cheers Tony

  9. Hi Pedro, what was the problem with 14" tyres, if you dont mind me asking. Cheers Tony
  10. Thanks Peter, will check both. Tony
  11. Thanks Peter, just checked and the shop replaced both the CAS and bearing. Cheers Tony
  12. G'day Peter, the bearing was changed but not for 2 weeks after I did the CAS,If you think this could have buggered the CAS again I will replace it, I will have a look at the ignition and the AAC valve as suggested by Zedman and Agno, thanks gents. so if you can think of anything else Peter that maybe causing this let me know,Thank again gents for your help. Cheers Tony Just had a look at the invoice from the performace shop they replaced the CAS and Bearing again so the CAS should be right.
  13. It does it cold or hot, it may start first kick or not its just random, the battery is new, its very frustrating, your hesitant to take it out for fear it may not start at all. The CAS plug was the first thing replaced when it started doing this. What is the AAC valve?. Tony
  14. Hi all, my second toy is an 1988 skyline silhouette GTS ( aus spec RB30). Problem is sometimes it will start first kick or you will be cranking multible times before it will start (30sec to a minute), it has had the crank angle sensor replaced along with plugs, coil, leads, AFM, it was looked at by a performace work shop and thier auto elec traced it to the computer so that was replaced, still doing the same thing, fuel pressure was also checked which was fine, so now with everything replaced I am at a dead end as to what next to look at, so I now put out there to all you motor guru's any suggestions on what to look at next. Cheers Tony
  15. I run 14 on my 260, can't remember the off set at the moment, I run 215x65 front 235x60 on the back, last time I checked availability (for road use) Yokohama still had a good range of sizes in 14in and Bridgestone had limited sizes available. cheers Tony
  16. I would have to agree with you Rev, the buses are quite good. Cheers Tony
  17. All I can say is do your home work, shop around and keep asking questions. The bush kit I will be buying soon is the one from energy suspension. Cheers Tony congratulations on your bonus
  18. Having driven both, on the road you don't notice a great deal of difference in there handling, the only time I noticed quite a difference was on dirt, a 240 gets its bum out faster and comes back faster than the 260 2+2, I liked the 2+2 better on dirt, and no the 2+2 doesn't twist more with its extra length. Cheers Tony
  19. Ill get some photo's up for you, Luvemfast, If you were you would have to change your name to Lovemfurry.
  20. The censor changed it from a dog you know what, to a dog rooster. If you mean the 's' on the end of dog, It was known only as dog _ock not dogs. Tony
  21. Once upon a time us panelbeaters called it a dog _ock and that is what you called it when you were ordering the part, it was also listed as that in the parts books. Cheers Tony
  22. No its a N42, just looking for a spare, the cam carriers on mine are looking a bit poor, also can get it done up and do a swap without having the Z down for to long, I will give you a call during the week to arrange a visit to do some Z shopping. Cheers Tony
  23. how much for the N42 Tim, cheers Tony
  24. I have been a member since 2007, also a donating member, I have only chocked up 50 posts as I am not an expert on Zeds, but sometimes a subject maybe something I know about such as panel beating so I will make a comment, most of the time I read the posts written by those that know what they are talking about, then you see posts put up by those that phrase there posts in a way that courses conflict, argue with members that over the years I have come to respect for there knowledge and willingness to help others, so I would not worry it to much, they are usually gone as fast as they arrived, we know the ones that carry our respect. Keep up the good work. Cheers Tony
  25. Went and had a look last night Tim , the dark rims against the white looks good, I thought the Z stood out against the rest quite well, if I get mine squared away we may have two there next year. Cheers Tony
