  1. Hi all, I figured i would post some pictures of wiring diagrams here, these are later Australian delivered 260z 2+2 wiring diagram, they suit mid 76 to 78.
  2. most likely a patrol, and nice work mate.
  3. if the VL clutch doesn't hold, send me a Pm i do have a spare 240mm flywheel and either of those 2 clutches would have worked with a 240mm the HDB (Heavy duty button) would hold more torque but not as nice to drive daily.
  4. Run a 240mm clutch and flywheel, the 225 cant handle the torque. you can get 240mm flywheels from MQ/MK patrols with a L28 or you can get an adapter ring and run a RB one.
  5. If you can get an Rb20 turbo get it, they have steel turbine vs the RB25 turbo which is ceramic and do have tendencies to blow to bits. You could always just buy a T3 turbo off ebay, they are reliable enough now you generally wont have any issues with them.
  6. Forester turbo will be way too small, a GT3076 is a pretty good size for them or a Holset Hx35. with the injectors stock are only 180cc and no good, i would look at something like Redrbzed has offered. do you have an idea of the power figure your after?
  7. Just on a side note, my factory L28 has 2mm top piston rings, they came both 1.5 and 2mm.
  8. the harmonic balancers are different between the 2 the patrol sump dips more towards the middle but still works in a S30/S130 block wise it can be N42 or F54 and ive never come across one with a P90 only ever seen N42 heads the oil tree can be different Intake manifold is a single 2 barrel Cam profile is different between the patrol and S30 the flywheel is larger on a patrol other than that, there pretty much the same internally
  9. a z32 turbo diff wont fit in your cradle mate, the diff you want to look for is a R32/R33 or S14/S15 diff (using one of these may require adapters or new axles due to being 5 bolt axels) or a Manual Z32 Na diff (normally 6 bolt). a good link can be found here that might help you https://forums.hybridz.org/topic/38251-complete-differential-list-need-help/ . the good think with the Z32 Na diff is you can get new centres for them fairly easy.
  10. hi mate, fair chance you have a R200 short nose diff from a z31, R230 out of a z32 turbo never came out with anything other than a 3.7
  11. hi mate, get yourself a z31 dizzy and you can modify it to fit, use a NP pajero dizzy cap and rotor button. internally they are the same but have a better optic wheel. pm me if you need more info
  12. i may have a spare mate, ill have a look in the shed tomorrow night and let you know
  13. im with chris, it still gives me goose bumps. funny thing is i was also wondering the other day what has happened to his car.
  14. dont go standard ecu, get a after market one strait away, by the time you get the basics your looking at $2000+ to give you a rough idea
  15. that is the correct oil to use when using penrite mate, being GL5 will not hurt it it just has a few extra additives
