    Radiator flush

And we are on tight water restrictions Chris!!! Yeh sounds right, at least its easy and cheap to fix and as said, better now than later.
  2. Sell them both and get a good Z when you get back I reckon
  3. Coming along nicely. I can vouch for the H4 upgrade, but I highly suggest you rewire it properly, my lowbeams have already gone and I was told yesterday by a friend the damage that can be done to the loom and everything attached as it tries to earth itself back through the loom if an extra relay isnt installed etc. This is the next priority i have after finding that out.
  4. Have you got any pictures of the truck? I have no idea what it is.
  5. We have some pretty hefty taxes on import/exporting, might be cheaper to get one from Japan?
  6. yeh, i figured, but its about 120mm off the road atm, maybe a bit too far, but hey, this is the reason i got coilovers thanks
  7. Well for the last few days I have been preparing and cutting the guards for the flares. I found a fair amount of rust in the inner guard, but the outer has been previously repaired and bogged so thats one less worry. I might have to look into that while im at it. I have installed the front flares (temp until i paint them) and the gent who welded my suspension will be welding my rear guards back together for me and also installing the nutserts as his friend has a tool for them for a good price. I trial fitted the wheels etc today and i will be able to lower the car even more now, there was a pretty big gap between the guards and wheels I will get pics up asap, but the car goes to the workshop this afternoon to get a run in tune so it wont be till after it returns from there and being welded too. I also had it running for a minute yesterday to make sure there were no oil, water, intake or exhaust leaks and bingo, none. Cant wait to drive it again
  8. Sweet *cracks whip*
  9. I have that bowl at home for the cat, though no Z logo.
  10. 7MGTE injectors plug straight in and are pretty easy to come by, upgrade while your at it
  11. Its not in oz, LHD. Looks the goods though.
  12. Oh damn, im not sure what im more impressed with, the insurance company or you collection
  13. That explains where all the rust in my rear guards came from doing the flares the other day
  14. lol, my only child is my Z. The sunday should be fine and maybe both Cotter and Cafe?
  15. I thought since there is a few of us now, we should actually meet and I also wanted to be the first to post in this section I propose the first weekend of Feb? Maybe even the Friday night at the museum, I know a lot of the Skylines Australia guys and Gals, they are a good bunch and not young (im old at heart) tossers trying to be cool, but im definately open to ideas. Scott Ok, after much email discussion, we are meeting at the bbq area at the small bridge at the Cotter where the pub used to be at 11am this Sunday, 24th Feb. I am bringing some sausages and some other odds and ends, B.Y.O grog and any other foods you might want. It is open for any cars and enthusiasts, families and partners are welcome. Just look for a red or silver Z or a black Supra. Any inquiries, my mobile is 0421780262, or email me at sco_aus@hotmail.com Regards Scott Welsh
  16. Yeh, even I still think of it like that, mostly because it has mostly victorians on it. But you have far exceeded yourself in working on the site and getting it where it is, so I say when YOUR ready Gav. To answer the original question, I know George, ZD44TT and Anthony are all Sydney siders and I might be moving there from Canberra soon if I get the job I want.
  17. i hate the stress, but love to drive my car the welding part is gonna be bad for me, i have never welded and im stuggling to find somone who knows how to or has the equipment to mig/tig weld. Im gonna hit up the guy who welded my suspension who knows his shit, but whether he has the time or not
  18. Can someone answer me this question asap. Its an excellent guide, but im confused as at one point, Austin says DO NOT CUT ALL THE WAY THROUGH when cutting the outer guard on the rear, what does that mean? am i not cutting the metal all the way, or am i not cutting through the inner guard or is there something i dont know about? I need to know asap cos thje car goes in for a tune on tuesday and the tassie trip is only a couple of weeks away and i need to ge these on so i can fit my bigger wheels cos i sold the 16's to Lurch.
  19. awww yeh, thats hawt. Good buy dude.
  20. Welcome, whats your ride, where are you from and do you have any pics? Scott
  21. For Craig or Lurch, would that blue 350 be one the 350 TT that may be coming on the trip? Either way, i just barred up.
  22. Well said Welcome, perhaps the three of us should meet up sometime in the next few weeks? I should be driving mine by Friday now that I have sorted my problems and can get it tuned now.
  23. Ill do Canberra, theres 2 of us here. Unless Chris (gonzo240) wants to. We/I might jusy have to go to Sydney occassionally instead, but seriously im happy to do Canbera if we get more people.
