  1. Where abouts are you? I have a 240Z front one or my '77 260Z one. Both have a small amount of surface rust and chrome peeling. The 240Z one is in better condition though.
  2. Is the silver one with the orange stripes still up there? The guy seems like a tool, but the car was nice and he was talking of a RB25DET conversion. Mind you he was army too and probly has since been posted out.
  3. He wants $400 for the whole car minus wheels and master. The motor apparently runs well, but there is no fuel in it atm. The radiator is spoken for if the car doesnt go as a whole.
  4. Umm, every R31 sky/pin has had a live axle bog warmer and the only IRS diff was the R31 GTS witht he RB20 and RB30ET, but i could be wrong.
  5. Also in regards to shipping over there for the engine, either Northline or air road direct will be able to do it a lot cheaper than most of the other companys. I just had a 400kg engine sent from Bundaberg in Qld to Canberra for $450 and that was including extra for lifting equipment at one and and remote depot location, plus the extra weight. If you are near a major depot and have the means to lift the engine it should work out quite cheap.
  6. A mate will be parting out a 280zx in a couple of days, so if you want the efi L28 and any other parts click ---> http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=1809.0
  7. A friend is taking delivery of a 280ZX efi in 2 days. He got it for the master cylinder and is now parting and destroying. If you want any parts, post em up and they should be up for grabs. He is going to be a little impatient and want to destroy it quicker than waiting for people to make decisions, so i suggest being quick. Car is in Canberra, postage can be organised. Make an offer Note: I have dibs on the diff gears if they are 3.9, you can have my 3.7

    L26, L28

Just to let you know, a mate has a L28 efi version if u need it, but would need to know soonish.
  9. All good dude, wasnt having a go. The dattos never came with a short nose diff, so that part is easy. They only came with the R180 and R200 longnose which is covered in the link below. The ratios can be determined the usual way. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?topic=299.0
  10. And kinda not cool to advertise someone elses stuff in someones for sale thread too. Unless they dont care. But thanks anyways, a bit pricey for the DR30 diff too.
  11. hehe, i already have a 3.7, i need a little shorter. Thanks n e ways.
  12. Injectors are in, ill post a pic when I get the chance. Unfortunately, a friend who was meant to help put my clutch back in kinda stuffed me around and im 2 days behind, which means im not going to have it ready for Marque in the park, little dissapointed, but I can spend a bit more time getting it done properly now.
  13. And the tumble weeds? No gears at all? kinda need a 3.9.
  14. I have heard from a lot of race drivers that freezing it and chipping it off is the easiest and quickest method, using that stuff in a can, but im not sure how cheap it would be.
  15. hehe, its all good.
  16. Your a mod...
  17. You have to be a member to view them Sulio
  18. Sweet pics Lurch. I cant view any of yours Sulio.
  19. Unfortunately it never worked Well I finished putting the Sard 550cc injectors in today, was pretty easy to do, just had to be really carefull. Im about to go out to the garage to put the alternator back on, then on sunday we are putting the flywheel and clutch back on. I have leave for 2 weeks starting on Friday, so ill be spending every hour i can on the car till its driving again. My plan is to have running again for "Marque in the park" which is massive car show here in Canberra on Sunday 25th Nov..
  20. Does yours have any othe structural bracing though? When I first put mine in, all i had was Lovell springs and whiteline swaybars, so you really could feel the difference.
  21. I just used airroaddirect to get a 400kg diesel to canberra from Bundaberg. It wasnt cheap, but that was due to it being rural and a fair distance. Their customer service wasnt brilliant, but the guy I had was useless, the other staff seem pretty good and fixed his mistakes. So if ya call them and get the guy, hang up and try again. I hear northline freight are good too, but they were $80 more for what I wanted. I would try both if i were you. Air road direct: 1300 555 450 Northline: Client Services: 1300 722 534 It should give you the sydney dept. Just to make it easier for you, for a quote using the largest pallette size, 117W x117L x 50H approx. Due to the lower weight of the engine, the smaller the pallette the cheaper it will be, the weight wont make any difference unless it weighs more than 190kgs approx. So tell whom ever it is with the engine to use the smallest pallette possible. Scott
  22. yeh it made a massive difference when i did both on mine, but it did understeer a little more, but i adjusted the sway bars and it was all good. You kinda need adjustable ones to do it though
  23. Heaps. With zeds you can generally only go in marque stuff, though a couple of the boys on here actually race so they would be good to ask too. From what I have seen on the marque side of things, entry fees are high and then you have the building and maintenance to go on top, so a very casual approach is probly best till you can get sponsors on board and/or build the car to go faster. But thats what I have seen, i havnt gotten into rcing yet (cos the fricken car has been off the road for nearly a year ). Scott

    rowville zeds

haha, i got everyone self conscious now.
  25. The link wouldnt work for me, but i had a look, they seem pretty good, though one of them does have a little gutter rash. Good size though, thats all im considering them for, i reckon their ugly as sin.
