  2. At least you guys have choice, Canberra is just shit, though thats more in the sense of the RB, I get my parts from the joint in Hornsby, Sydney and they seem fine.
  3. He was defending him basically. Maybe he could start proving people wrong? I dont know who he is or anything about him, so I would just like to say, "testicals! That is all"

  8. Well Sunday turned out to be perfect weather and a great day all round. We started at the Cotter BBQ area where we sank a few beers and cooked up some food and just had a good chat. Chris and Simon both showed me over their excellent examples of Z cars and I was very impressed with both. After we had eaten and Simons partner had to leave we decided to go for a spirited drive through the hills to the Corin Forrest adventure park where the pics were taken. We spent over an hour just chatting. The drive up was interesting as I had to pull over due to the Supra wanting to overheat and Chris had a few timing issues which were fixed at the top with a few small adjustments to the dizzy. We headed off from there back through the southern suburbs where we went our own ways. Thanks for a great Sunday fellas.
  9. Although I agree that cross drilled arnt a good way to go unless made by a good manufacturer like Wilwood etc, the rear brakes would not get anywhere near as hot as the front and I wouldnt have thought it would be a risk of cracks etc from having cross drilled. I can see advantages from both perspectives, but for the front, definately not. I would rather spend the money on getting vented disks and appropriate callipers.
  10. Do you have 2 sets of them NZeder? I have been after one for ages.
  11. Ill see what I can do.
  12. Good to see they finally arrived... I went through Black Dragon to get my Urethane front bar not long ago. They had good service and it arrived on time, but it didnt have cut outs for the indicators (my own fault for not checking). I ended up just cutting out the sections for the lights to slot into. Worked fine.
  13. Ok, after much email discussion, we are meeting at the bbq area at the small bridge at the Cotter where the pub used to be at 11am this Sunday, 24th Feb. I am bringing some sausages and some other odds and ends, B.Y.O grog and any other foods you might want. It is open for any cars and enthusiasts, families and partners are welcome. Just look for a red or silver Z or a black Supra. Any inquiries, my mobile is 0421780262, or email me at sco_aus@hotmail.com Regards Scott Welsh
  14. Believe me I wanted to pull them out but didn't have the right tools. I tell you there is nothing more frustrating. I also didn't feel that safe under the car wrestling with the racket to try and get it out. They put those cars up on 4 old rims. I was also there to try and get a L28 long block for a friend but again didn't have the right gear with me. There were quite a few long blocks there (L28). But since I was also saving cash a the time for my trip overseas I didn't bother. If they were LSD's I would have done god knows what to pull them out . I was more putting that to Zedman240, if he was willing to pull them both out, depending on how much they wanted for them, I would buy one and throw him a bit extra for doing the labour etc since im Canbera and all, but yeh thanks.
  15. Dude, if you were to pull both of them out, I would pay for one and give you a bit extra for doing the work depending on how much they want for the 2 diffs. Im just after the gears really, the rest im already set for.
  16. Just a thought, but maybe to reduce the length of piping thats unsupported, perhaps having a centre bearing?
  17. Geez thats a long piece of string, sounds like a reasonably early 260, but thats just confusing.
  18. What computer are you using?
  19. Sorry all, the car was sold off as a whole.

It was a great trip and great people. Special thanks to Craig for organising and to Lurch and Craig for helping out with my unfortunate financial situation. Cant wait to see the videos His wheels are Starcorp C5s, 16x6.5 with Falken ziex tyres. I sold them to him recently. Backspacing and offset to suit Z, they clear any calliper due to the massive backspace that gives it the right offset.
