  1. Havnt had a problem yet with this setup, not the prettiest from inside the car, but will be covered later.
  2. Hey dude, I asked the guys on SAU if you could tag along and no one seems to mind (didnt think they would). Im thinking of just getting my car running for the show, I dont think I will have it finished by then.
  3. Hey guys, im not going to be able to come. I could get leave, but the car wont be ready. If I was guarenteed a seat in someones car I would definately consider it just to meet everyone and have a bit of a holiday. Anyone?
  4. Hey, are you parting the 2 seater too? I really need a decent dash peoples
  5. If I can come, make that 4 cameras Put me down for an attendance, but I really need to know when it is cos I dunno if i can get the car going before then.
  6. Lookin good dude. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t186191.html&st=80&start=80 Thats the SAU guys, I dont think there is an actual website dedicated to it but i dont think they will mind you coming with.

  8. Hi and welcome. Any pics?
  9. Hey mate. Welcome. There is a few of us on here with RBs, so one of us should be able to help with any questions. Scott
  10. Congrats, definately a proud achievement. PICS? I have 2 original steering wheels, but otherwise, unless you want a CV conversion, I have nothing of use. Advice... GET AN RB!!!! :D jk
  11. Yeh thanks, it was, but I dont have the patience to load them individually from my photobucket account, it took a while just to do 1 and I cant upload them from my computer because a lot of my images on photobucket are from my laptop, im on my desktop now. Some others are from the net too, so unless there is a way of uploading heaps at once via URL on image shack, we will just have to live with it.
  12. Is there an easy way of shrinking these pics so they can be clicked on to be made bigger? Would be so much easier to read then, its shitting me.
  13. I finally got the engine back from the rebuild. I still have to put the water pump on which will act as a cover plate until I can replace it with a different custom cover plate. Also have some 550cc Sard injectors and collars which will go on the engine soon before it goes back in the car. I have this new front bar which is Urethane and flexible. Im still tossing up whether to match the paint or just leave it black, but ill see when i get it on the car. THOUGHTS?

    fuel pump

maybe a little big for your application I would have thought that maybe the VL pump/s would be a good upgrade for a Z, but i dunno if it fits or what ever. I dunno what I have but it has no problems with the power im running.
  15. Yeh, you have lots of interest, a friend wants one of them, let us know.

    hahahaha, nice
  17. http://www.allzparts.com.au/Home%20Page.html I use Warren at all Z parts. He always sends the correct part, sends it fast and does it for a good price.

Apart from parts, it cost a friend $600 labour to have a 4 cyl Toyota engine rebuilt, $900 for a head gasket? I dont think so. The hardest part is the head being shaved from the head warping (happens on alloy heads and is only a tiny warp), that cost me $100 for an RB25DET... if you even can be bothered doing it, a lot of people dont.
  19. im working and doubt the car will be on the road, though i did finally get my engine back, but still plenty of work to go.
  20. haha, nice
  21. I like it, very clean, but looks a bit too european wanker now.
  22. VDO speedo and Tacho. Was thinking of going to the Autometer sports comp cos i like the look, but i might re think that now, especially since I have friends who work at autobarn, might be able to get the good ones for a decent price.
  23. My clock reads strange Has a 0 then numbers going up and numbers going down with a minus sign before them. Also says something about psi
  24. hahaha, man thats so true. Welcome dude, personally if i were to ever use a V8, it would always be a 1UZ. They have a similar weight to a 4cylinder engine (all alloy), strong, quad cam, plenty of parts available, reasonable price and no more difficult to fit than a LS1 with an aftermarket ecu and loom. Hope im not patronising here, just reckon they are the shiz.
