It is quite solid for the Hilux and R31 and yeh is a bit overkill, but I like the feeling of it.

It is overkill, even Arizona zed car say that the 15/16th MC is fine for their 6pot Wilwood system. I have the 1" MC with Hilux fronts and R31 rears and its a bit overkill even for that..

The soldiers are not the only ones who suffer in these circumstances, the families and friends also have to live with it for the rest of their lives. I think it would be personally, but maybe someone here who has tried it could shed some light? I remember my standard 7/8th MC was not enough for the Hilux caliper, so I reckon the 15/16th would be perfect. BTW, I have a 15/16th that I'm about to put up for sale

As our national anthem suggests, we are "girt by sea". Apart from Canberra, all our capital cities are on the coast.... And even Canberra has some territory on the NSW south coast (Jervis Bay). So if you live in land, you will be fine. Just a thought, my friends mum imported all this furniture from China I think. The importers couldnt get a hold of them and they were charging a hell of a lot of money for the container to be stored on the dock, so just make sure you have plans for the container to be removed asap lol. There are a few places in oz that can do conversions from LHD to RHD, but I reckon you could do it yourself, but you will need it to be engineered for registration, thats never cheap. Infact, you would probably be best to talk to a vehicle engineer in the area you will move to to find out what exactly wil be required... cheers Scott

Just to clear this up. The JB1419 is not a 15/16th MC, its 1" and is a Patrol replacement, not 280ZX. However it will fit all of the early zeds, I know, cos I have one in mine and its SOLID!! lol It may be a little too much for some brakes though, so keep that in mind.
