  1. So its not for sale anymore?
  2. I hope it stays in ACT Michael. Its a shame you have to sell mate.
  3. All kinds of awesome Al
  4. I realise you aren't only attacking me, but the statement was about people in general who have a different opinion, this is a debate, not a fight. I appreciate your opinion and your reply, but I maintain my position.
  5. Way out of line Saxon, keep your personal opinions to yourself mate, no personal attacks are welcome here.
  6. That was my point, I'm not going to bother quoting a website. My problem with the Carbon Tax is that the goal is not good enough. 5% is nothing over 20 years. Why not aim higher and make it worth while? I don't claim to be an expert and no I haven't done much research, ignorance is bliss.
  7. Making personal attacks on people with different opinions is trolling champ, regardless of your previous number of posts... I can't be bothered finding a link to some research to prove my point because your not worth the effort.
  8. So we should all bury our heads in the sand because we have a different opinion? As you stated, the above is your opinion, not fact, so we should all bury our heads in the sand... Fuckin Troll.

    Wheels 2012

I'm not rostered on, so I suppose I should be able to make an appearance.
  11. Fair enough, good luck
  12. That is still pretty big for a 3L straight 6, but it will hammer!
  13. I do, but I'm in Canberra. You got flares or not?
  14. They look like they were built for these cars. That is a DECENT feckin turbo too... Awesome!
  15. Hey guys, I received this email today and want to gauge interest. Thoughts? "Hello car clubs of all models, vintages and styles I am the President of the Tuggeranong Community Festival and would like to invite your club to participate in this year’s Festival. We are also extending invitations to truck, bus, vintage/historical, tractor clubs, the defence force and emergency type services. The Festival will be held on Saturday 1 December 2012 in Tuggeranong Town Park. We are slowly building up our motor car/cycle exhibit (e.g. classic, rare, vintage and kustom etc). Last year we had the ACT Mini and MG Car Clubs and the American Car Club registering, with some club members travelling from Wagga Wagga and the south coast to participate. We believe that over time our car exhibit will become a major Festival event and the biggest in South Canberra. The exhibit opportunities and expansion potential are endless given the large public interest and appreciation of ‘motoring’ throughout ACT and regions. Each year the Festival puts on free children’s and main evening concert. This year, our headline main act will be Pseudo Echo (of funky town fame) followed by the traditional fireworks over Lake Tuggeranong. All the entertainment is free to the public. There will be stalls of all types and we are confident that our stallholder registrations of 95 along with the 65 community groups we engage (set in 2011) will be broken this year. There will also be free on-stage entertainment throughout the day, a rowing competition and a social sailing regatta, free fishing competition and a re-enactment of the Battle of Hastings, just to mention a few. Basically its a great day out. I would be happy to meet with your committee to discuss further and answer any questions you may have. Please feel free to call me after hours on 6286 4747 or contact me via this email. I hope your club considers favourably our invitation to participate. Kind regards, Michael Lindfield President Tuggeranong Festival Background The Tuggeranong Festival is Canberra’s longest running free-to-the-community event of its kind. We are now in our 24th year of community service. Our website is www.tuggeranongfestival.org.au. The Festival is a non-profit community group. The Festival does not have any administrative overheads or paid staff. The festival program and event management is done in a voluntary capacity by a small group of people outside their working hours."
  16. Have fun guys, I wish I could come
  17. Sad day mate. All the best for what ever is next. There are some good ideas above, teaching or try and get into motorsports? Good money in the latter, good, steady income in the other.
  18. It was good to catch up. I was a bit late so I missed the first couple of guys there, maybe next time. Oh and BTW, keep an eye on the ACT section, I got an email inviting us to some show in December, so I'll post it up soon.
  19. a) AWESOME! Man thats nice. b) Depending on pricing for the track day, I would be keen...
  20. All these RB Zeds popping up in the ACT, I might have to change engine or something!
  21. Fair enough, the body on mine is shit, so I didn't mind lol.
  22. They look so natural in there... BTW, for the intake, we cut the small hole bigger under where your intercooler pipes goes through on the passenger side and built some pipe out the front for cold air intake. If you can bring yourself to cut the body up a little...
  23. Mark Oliver in Queanbeyan is brilliant, but you will pay for him, Dingo lives next door to him of you need more info... I got mine done through a friend. The guy lives down near the Cann River. For $1500 he did a good job, but it was far from perfect. Having said that, if I gave him $10k I probly would have got a Rembrandt!
