  1. I would be willing to bet that since it has been in a garage for such a long time, there wouldn't be any more info here than the add. Good luck
  2. They look great Freddie, good work. I wish they were functional though.
  3. Cowes is the larger of the towns on the Island and not too far from the track, so I would suggest there. I do know of a decent flat/ located in Cowes (its actually at a timber yard, but a good, secure place to stay with parking). I have the contacts if anyone is interested. It would sleep quite a few people too.
  4. Thanks mate
  5. I'm going to hit Scottie (duffy auto) up for some free paint work, it seems I have gotten him a bit of work lately lol. Good to see this zed stayed in Canberra, but please promise no silver paint and no RB25 motor, unless your name is Scott, then its tradition to have silver zed.
  6. Anyone seen them on a zed with flares?
  7. The pads are the ones that came with the kit and I haven't driven it enough to even wear them, infact I doubt they are even bedded in properly lol. Thanks for the tip, I'll keep an eye on them.
  8. Damn, I have an older troopie project I need to offload. Good luck
  9. What sort of 4x4 are you thinking...?
  10. Basically because the car is changing registration details, ie engine number etc, we have to take it to the registration inspection station in the suburb of Dickson. Whilst there, they often check the rest of the car because they can. Yeah it is his signature, but it is a complete fuck around and expensive when they don't approve your rego... The wheel offset was told to me by a wheel shop a few years back, but I can't confirm it. Anyway, back on topic, I wish I could weld!
  11. My 200ZR sump is pretty low, so it probably is the same one. I am thinking about doing the same thing and adding some baffles too, curious to see what people think.
  12. ahh cool. yeah he barely even glanced at my seat rails and they were pretty dodgy at the time, still passed it lol, though Dickson didn't even look at it. I would imagine the less offset, the closer to keeping the standard track (+13 offset i think). The weirdest thing though is that you can't go even 1mm less track, but you can increase the track by 25mm, it is surprisingly easy to reduce the track when playing with wheel offsets.
  13. Thanks Bruce, that does raise a good point if racing with a bumper on, any upward angle to the tow vehicle will put pressure on the bumper. My problem with the solid ones is that the distance between the most forward bolt on the standard bumper mounts and the hook is quite long and if you were towed at a sideways angle it would bend the tow hook or worse yet, the car.
  14. I hate to break it to you, but John Wilson has been in trouble a lot for that casual attitude. He tends to be a little too leaniant and then Dickson have a WTF moment. You might be fine, hopefully, but his work is questioned a lot. I used him years ago and was fine, so here's hoping.
  15. Track is measured from the centre of the tyre. Hmm, that's different to what I heard, but either way I don't see it as anything other than a maintenance thing, not safety.
  16. So make a metal bar that extends it and use a bolt and nut so it is the first thing to break... My problem with the solid ones is that if you have to be towed at an angle, it will bend the hook or the car.
  17. Thanks man, I'm surprised I didn't find them already, perfect really. I am thinking I will velcro it to the car to stop it flapping around and make it is easy to get ready for the tow.
  18. Me? I know what size wheels I have...
  19. Awesome, I'm going to use the Velo for the front and the rear one from ZCCJDM. Thanks heaps guys. But keep them coming if you have anything else.
  20. I would be interested in a real rear one, but depends on price. Not interested in cosmetic.
  21. The most annoying part is that Wilwoods don't require dust seals, but the people making the rules don't actually know shit about what they are talking about.
  22. If it is driving, bring your zed around and we can fit my Rota RBs on your car
  23. I would be happy to have them sent to me then sent out to anyone who wants them. I would require the money before doing the order from the though.
