  1. Kick ass!
  2. Can I get the dimensions and weight so I can get a shipping quote?
  3. What about 10/02/12 at the usual Yacht Club?
  4. My experience with Hilux calipers and R31 rear was that the 7/8 wasn't that great. Once I installed the 15/16th, I was much happier with the feel.
  5. I'm keen and I have rego till the end of the month!
  6. I would, but I won't have the money for a couple of weeks and then have to get it to Canberra
  7. "what I find funny is we needed a study to tell us Fruit and Veg was so good at preventing cancer." haha, so true, all this duty of care crap has turned people into robots waiting to be told what to do, instead of using common sense.
  8. Welcome from another Canberran. Keep an eye out on the A.C.T section for any events and come along.
  9. 7-8 years now, I'll pass it on to my kids one day.
  10. I refer to the episode of Top Gear where they test drive a fast electric car around their track. It ran out of power very quickly and took a long time to re charge. Until corporations have a reason to develop long lasting, fast recharging electric cars, it simply wont happen. The other problem that exists with electric cars, is the batteries are worse for the environment than oil. So as far as I am concerned, electric cars should not be the way of the future. Hydrogen is too unstable in our current storage forms and considering how much roll cage exists in V8 supercars and they still manage to explode every season, we don't have a safe method yet. To produce bio diesel is relatively easy, but there isn't enough used veggie oil etc in the world to keep it going for ever. In Canberra, recently, public transport and bike riding have been encouraged and it has become a lot more popular. Going back before cars were mass produced, most people used public transport or horse and cart. We have been spoiled with cars and prices for so long, I believe if public transport was improved for major cities, this would be a great way to reduce emissions. I believe in the Netherlands, push bikes have right of way at all times, so this would reduce obesity and carbon emissions. I personally don't believe humans have increased global warming beyond what was already happening, but considering cancer is now a lot more common, something is wrong with what we are doing...
  11. Save the photos to Photobucket website, you can re size then use the IMG link to post the photo direct on the thread you want.
  12. Done, let me know if you want anything else, I'll get onto these photos.
  13. Me too Mickie, just explain why and she's cool.
  14. Well, polar ice caps are melting and animals are becoming more scarce, I attribute the ice melting to a natural warming of the planet that is due to occur prior to an ice age. As for the animals, well lets face it, there way too many humans on this planet than we can sustain, hence mass starvation in Africa etc. Sure, there probably is enough food in the world to feed the starving and as harsh as this sounds, we can't sustain the resources to maintain that growth of population. Its a really sad state and we have no idea just how we lucky we are to even own a Datsun, let alone have food on a plate. But I'm going to continue to enjoy the luxuries I have, I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
  15. Sounds good Gav, I'll get my mate to pull his finger out and go do a photo shoot
  16. Have fun mate, maybe next time
  17. Fock it, go out and put a deposit on a garage, too late if it was a trap.
  18. For homes, I think its a good thing, they use a lot more energy than a single car. For cars, the recognition is already there for older cars, eg. classic car and vintage car categories, plus club and rally registrations etc. I'm not overly concerned about it until oil is no longer in use... I doubt BP, Shell and Mobil will have a bar of that any time soon and by the time it happens, our Datsuns will have fallen to bits with rust...
  19. Thats was fun. 1. I'm curious to The DRIVER's intentions for the plots, ie why he did what he did? 2. The product placement was kinda funny, but didn't worry me. 3. I did like the little bit where the AE86 hits the truck, to me that made a statement about the whole 86 scene being the past (nothing against them, I know plenty of people with them). 4. Was the idea of the the guy driving the Z33 looking like a fat oaf with a cigar meant to make him look like a bad guy? His gut sticking up when he laid down was a funny touch. Over all, I rated it pretty high, I hope to see more soon. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Is it a Speed off the Streets day or a club meet? I have Thursday off, but I really can't afford much right now.
  21. They are an official club with treasurer etc, so they have money that they raise from other events etc. Whilst we don't have this, I still think we get by just fine, but on rare occasions like this, it would be nice.
  22. Won't do it this year, but hopefully 2013 if they do it again, looks like fun.
  23. Very nice!
  24. I would be happy to get rid of my 8.5s for some 9's. Black all round would be cool as sh!t on my car I reckon. I should look in to powder coating my 9s black and this could work.
  25. Damn, if they were just alloy shade, I would buy the fronts.
