  1. What the...? Why is this so hard to understand? The 280ZX one bolts straight on, no mods required. The 1" Patrol MC bolts straight onto the booster BUT the brake lines have to be modified.
  2. That'll be a good buy for someone...
  3. Yeah - Scott got his numbers mixed up...
  4. PM or Email me people! I'm not answering questions on this page - it's too hard to keep track...
  5. I'm parting out my parts car as the room is needed & it's becoming an eyesore. I'm located in Darnum (near Warragul) Victoria. Pickup of large parts is a must. I may be willing to post smaller items. The Zed is rust bucket, but the roof & pillars are mint. Some other bodywork is OK, so if your after sections your welcome to cut them out. Interior is black (Dash has a dash-cap fitted). I can provide specific pics on request. '74 260Z 2+2 Auto. Parts that ARE NOT available: Engine (& ancillaries). Auto Gearbox. Radiator. Tailshaft. Differential & half-shafts. Front Bumper. Struts - sold. Engine x-member - sold. Roof panel - sold. Spare wheel well - sold. Tail light panels - sold. Everything else is available. No REASONABLE offers refused for parts. PM me here or Email: Lurch (at) ozdat.com Phone: 0 4 0 0 0 5 4 5 7 2 Cheers.
  6. Nar. I was just trying to get in on the Zed hateing...............................................
  7. I know Pauly likes his balls handled. Do you offer a polishing service? I'm thinking 'Gift Card'.
  8. Can I just say I hate all Zeds equally? Thank-you.
  9. I'm joking Bruce...
  10. Now THAT looks fantastic Warren!
  11. Dimo, I don't understand your obsession with this Zed of yours... I know it's very original, but IMHO your taking it too far. If you can find NOS original seatbelts (highly doubtful) then thats ok, but an old set are downright dangerous... Choke handles & cables are available brand new from places like AllZparts. The Air-con you can use from any model 240/260Z as it is all the same - you could even use the basic system out of a early skyline. You'll never see any of it & NO-ONE will ever be able to tell. Have you bothered to call any of these Zed retailers/wreckers places to find out whats available?
  12. Scott - fronts are easy. Rears are a wee bit harder, but not unpossible. You just need a jack, axel stands & a socket set
  13. Shuddup Bruce...
  14. I've been running Penrite HPR40 in the Bus for years with no decernable wear. But Penrite also have a 'Classic' range that has a Zinc substitue in it (so I've been told) - though I've never used it myself... The old cheese has some info on Zinc oils somewhere so I'll have to dig it out.

OK, that's enough children... Anymore bad-mouthing & someone WILL take a holiday...
  16. Hahaha, jumping the gun early Dave? It's a '76 BTW.

Jeff = know-it-all Actually, the early 260 2-seaters were just 'updated chassis' 240 shells - hence why the early 260 2-seaters have the lower rear strut towers like the 240 etc
  18. Welcome. Don't touch Pauly's wang. HTH.

  20. Yep, we felt it down here near Warragul! Made the double doors rattle...
  21. Well, he didn't come back. Looks like Bruce won
  22. Unbolt the 7/8th & bolt the 15/16th one back in. There's no modding required, Pete.
  23. Bring a LHD US-spec 240/260/280Z in! You can register them in Australia LHD because they are 20+ yrs old
