This sounds like a good project as I think they look good with the GTO body kit! Why dont you buy it Lurch and throw the body kit away and turn it back if you are against it would be one fast boat aswell Ash

I think a 240z is fine for a daily driver if you dont mind the lack of modcons. I used to drive mine to work from Cheltenham to Port melbourne everyday for quite a few years. It was running triple 40s and I loved it! The only reason I stopped driving it was it was getting too rusty. Ash

Now we can see why all the zed car business owners are cranky They have got to be worth 100-150 Last time I looked for them none of the toyota wreakers had them and I had to go with a different type of caliper. Ash

Yer I brought a new set of 6 with rings for $225. I threw the old ones out and they were in similar condition to the ones your selling (sorry to put a downer on your ad) I really wouldnt reccomend putting old pistons in a motor either Sorry Ash

Ok Im going to drive the racecar on my dads tradeplate! I am also bringing my camera to make a little doco on the event (this also helps as my dads trade plate if for his film business so I can say I am driving it for a doco I am doing on the zed Ash

To be honest if he has as much kw as he says he should be faster. Also did the zed ever come with 2 inch carbs? I would love to see what brakes he was running cause with that much KW the standard brakes he is meant to be running woulnd last more than a few laps. I might be wrong with my assumption but I spose if you throw a shed load of cash and have some driving talent then you can do anything. I think perry in his detomatso did a 1:21 in Qual and was just crusing in the races (now thats quick) There are alot of guys running in historics who arnt that good drivers so there is no reason that a decent driver in a zed cannot get good results however when I looked into historics the zed was an hard car to make quick (within the rules anyway) just as another funny note that means he has 25more rwkw than my rb25det racecar! Yer craigs and lurches wagons is pretty fast In all truth I have a funny feeling a 2+2 will be worth more than a std 260 one day as not as many people restore them and alot got rusty and trashed (i know I think I have wreaked about 6 of em) Ash

Hi Michael you can get a 7/8 master (the one I use in both my cars) new from most brake places. from memory they are under $100. can definatly have a bre rear spoiler sorted for you when Im back. I am pretty sure I have the door handle aswell Ash
