  1. Might be a genuine Nismo re-issue of the Datsun compe wheel. http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/x477306405 Buy it now: (AU$480.79)
  2. Brown Sugar, how come you taste so good! http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/57075-selling-a-240z-for-estate-please-help/ Current looking for a price guide. 73 240z with big bumpers. HLS30.
  3. Original radio for a 260z. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/282365845235 Looks cosmetically in excellent shape.
  4. Henrob/ DHC-2000/ Cobra torch. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222413549615?ul_noapp=true I've got 1 of these, but I don't use it very often. At Tafe I just use the regular 0.6 tip oxy torch but as Paul said here, it's what you're used to. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/10009-oxy-welding/ I imagine I'll use it a lot more often in future though, when I finally get my own Gas Tanks.
  5. $3k is a good offer! I should probably have not said anything to be honest. Mikuni's are getting good money lately. These are a later style 40mm carb too. *Edit - At first I didn't see your ad on eBay, it was only because you said it was listed I went looking. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tripple-40-mm-Mikuni-Carburetors-with-Mikuni-Intake-Manifold-and-Linkages-/182460009595?hash=item2a7b76cc7b:g:3OwAAOSw4CFYqVH5 A couple of tips if you like. 1. You misspelt Triples (1 P not 2). 2. You should include PHH in your item description title. Since there is lots of Mikuni / Solex carbs and PHH is specific to side draught. 3. You should probably add "Solex" to your title also, since people search for both Mikuni / Solex. All the best.
  6. Part no. 48400-E4100 - 'Ura' Mach Wheel http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/11680-nissan-fairlady-z432-r-replica-project/?p=138647 http://www.goodness.jp/mach-repro.htm http://victory50.com/president/president002.html I would like 1 .
  7. Black was not a factory colour until the "black pearl edition" was introduced with the 280z in North America. I would like to find out what it's chassis no. is.
  8. For those interested in learning a bit more about CHECKMAN in general. http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/forum/community/general-discussion-jnc-news-faq/16563-information-about-checkman-steering-wheels Which I believe later became Racing Mate. http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/4607-meaning-of-pmcs-racing-mate/ http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/shop-life-the-return-of-racing-mate/
  9. A nice B210 coupe in original condition with no rust is worth $6k. I'd love 1, with a warm A-series engine and sidedraught carbs .
  10. I would say that a set of unrebuilt 40s would sell around $1,200 AU without manifold. Add $300 - $400 + for Mikuni Manifold. Then factor in rebuild and tuning costs + misc hardware etc.. Probably hit $2k easily. If someone has a similar engine spec to you might be able to bolt these on?
  11. 40mm tend to sell on the cheaper side. The Mikuni Manifold is desirable to North American's who want a short runner. Are you going to 44mm? Good luck.
  12. Wonder how 2+2S will perform across the pond? http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-datsun-260z-22/
  13. Yes he is in Penrith and has many cars been collecting them for years.
  14. Lots of S30z's have had a hard life up to this point. So not uncommon to have major rust and or accident history. You can burn through a lot of money with bodywork. Panels or good ones are getting hard to source locally. I haven't seen the 240z above in person but I think it has a lot going for it including original radio. I think surface rust makes it look worse than it is. Call seller and ask to have a look he sells a lot of S30z's. Isaac should be able to let you get it on a hoist for inspection too.
  15. That ain't going to appreciate much in my opinion (but then again they said the same about C110 240K's). I'd say the 2 door coupe's would probably be worth something to the right person, not sure on the 4 door's. If you have the space to store it, go for it. However it's in pretty rough shape, might be nice to let someone at it who wants to fix her up and put her to her former glory?
  16. 1 of my pet peeves is I get PMs or emails asking me to give an indication as to what something is worth but without any photos or idea of rust. There is a saying I'm fine of that goes a problem well stated is half solved. If you provide more photos of its condition it would be a lot easier to give an indication of its value. C210s haven't really taken off yet.
  17. For those who appreciate restorations jobs of any kind and have a soft spot for older aircraft. This is for you. QANTAS Boeing 707 jet, their first. Restored from neglect on a runway in the UK and brought back home in all her original livery. It even features a bit of John Travolta.
  18. Jack Wornock? (Spelling?) I think Gosford have bought the car off the new owner after it changed hands from near you. It was for sale about 1-2 years ago now.
  19. $2,000 tops.
  20. NOS Ashtray (early S30Z) It has the early style lid. 100,000 yen http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d220172749
  21. Hi Jen, In my opinion, it's the game you have to play when flipping cars for profit. It may on the surface appear to be an easy way to make money (no capital gain, no tax etc..) but it warms the cockles of my heart to see you have to work a little for it.
  22. Probably, I haven't really looked at it could be a good way of retaining an "original" look.
  23. I was just being facetious... It's fine.
