    Better off building a custom manifold (that is not of the log sort). Not that hard to find an L28ET manifold in the US.

    So what ratio's are in the box now? Originally you were going to use the 4th gear out of the 280zx box (but it turns out it was a 240K box). So I am assuming you kept 4th out of the 260z box and went with 5th from the Pintara is that correct?

    Turns out plating was harder than expected given it was an alloy type of box. But it looks great now (even with the pinkish hue in it).

    Sometimes it's better to cut your losses and start with a better shell. Especially if it's not a significant number or early car worth investing all the effort and money into. This looks pretty decent as far as a 2+2 shell goes.
