Moderators Zedman240® Posted August 28, 2011 Moderators Posted August 28, 2011 Welcome.. You found a nice late model there to work with. Some bits are slightly different to others but generaly the same.. Good luck with the project! Quote
Bigfella Posted August 28, 2011 Posted August 28, 2011 Welcome to the 2+2 Club Brent. Nice to see yet another one that is not getting pulled apart for parts. With the floor pan I was of the understanding that the replacement floors only suited the 2 seater as the 2+2 has a lot more shape to it dips and bumps. Could be wrong though. I'm about to start work on mine soon... Cheers Matty O Quote
C.A.R. Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Rare Spares replacement floors won't fit a 2+2. Quote
zrevival Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Does anyone know what other options are there for 2+2 floor replacement if the rare spares one don't fit? Quote
brentmartland Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 so the floor pan i got will only fit 2 seater? Quote
brentmartland Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 i just found the invoice from rare spares and u guys are correct in the description it says "240z 260z not 2+2 RH FLOOR PAN inc RAIL" so i guess i have a right hand 2 seater floor pan for sale Quote
Six_Shooter Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 What is the difference in floors? I can't imagine the front being too different, and probably only need to fab a little at the back as an extension. Quote
zrevival Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I was wondering the same thing. Are the floor pans the same up to the seat rails? Quote
brentmartland Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 well i'll be pulling the interior out on the weekend and having a good look at fitting it. now i have a question about a bad panel i found on wat u guys recomend on how to attack it. It is the area between boot and tail light. seems to be 2 seperate sheets of metal top one has alot of rust holes and the bottom is nearly all rust but maybe the pics will explain better. thankx in advanced all advice is good advice for me Quote
