dat2kman Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 Zac, nah, cant be sorted, it is a hereditary slow degenerative back of the eye disease, no cure. (It isnt macular degeneration, that can be halted ) It has been slowly coming on for about five years, and in the last 12 months there have been a number of things happen that have given cause to doubt my confidence in fully doing what i most enjoy, ie driving and racing. I still hold a drivers licence, just, but when it comes to racing, the speeds, the on track awareness, the edge of teack requirements, my fellow competitors, I just have to bite the bullet. Now come and buy lots of stuff! Cars, towcar, parts, wheels, tyres,, I am gonna have to catalogue 30 years of Datsun stuff, bugga! Quote
Gordo Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Hi Jason, I'm sure in the last 30 years you have done what most of us could only dream of. I'm sad for you as I no how much you love this sport and your passion for the Historic cars. I could only imagine how it would be to leave the sport before your ready, I wish you good luck and I'm sure you will be on the forum for many years to come passing on all your knowledge and wisdom. Maybe one last celebration at the Nationals 2013 at the Island. You no you want to. Would like to meet you. Best wishes Gordon. Quote
RB30X Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Sorry to hear Jason. You showed up more than your fair share of people out on the track and for that you should be proud. Quote
