handsandwhich Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 These will join the rear subframe to the existing floor rails and help strengthen the body so it won't twist. $85.00 for the pair. Pick up from Thomastown Vic, or can post Aus wide at cost. Quote
handsandwhich Posted August 20, 2011 Author Posted August 20, 2011 Done, let me know if you want to pick up or I can put them on a couriers please van for about 10 bux. Quote
RB30X Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 You put these in yet Gareth? Looking at doing floors and rails in mine now so just sussing the scene out. Quote
Riceburner Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Haven't fitted them yet, still going with G-nose. I'll get lurch to weld them in when he does a few other bits. They look like a well made piece, very solid. Quote
handsandwhich Posted September 17, 2011 Author Posted September 17, 2011 A couple of pics of them installed. Quote
Z Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Has Bad Dog got a website or something? I did a search on the net and on Hybridz and found Jatz! Quote
C.A.R. Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Looks to me like you can't fit the rear sway bar now... Quote
NZeder Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Looks to me like you can't fit the rear sway bar now... True a forward facing sway bar - but if you get the sway bar that comes with the new rear hanger thing that mount the bar behind you are good + those rear sway setups work better on a lowered zed Quote
Riceburner Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 Looks to me like you can't fit the rear sway bar now... Could a small birds mouth or 'v' shape be cut into the backside to give the bar clearance? Similar mod to what Dave and Craig did on their power steering conversion. Quote
handsandwhich Posted September 17, 2011 Author Posted September 17, 2011 Yep, best bet is to run a sway bar at the back of the diff (if you decide to run one at all). You could notch out the rails but that would sort of defeat the purpose of strengthening that area anyways. Quote
