potter260 Posted February 14, 2013 Author Posted February 14, 2013 Ready to pick up on saturday morning now the long slow process of putting it back together Quote
potter260 Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 So I started actually working on it today..... pulled the whole from out and pulled each individual part off cleaned and painted ready for reassembly. Also gave my credit card a work out, ordered lower control arms for front and rear as well as adjustable tension control arms from the US. So once they arrive i can put the front back together. Removed the old manifold and extractors to fit a new gasket and triples manifold. My New steering wheel also arrived last week Quote
peter t Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Love that steering wheel. Where did you get it and how much"? Quote
potter260 Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 Otomoto off there website.... up towards $500.... Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted March 9, 2013 Administrators Posted March 9, 2013 Yeah love the wheel lotta mulla but if you want something special sometimes you gotta spend good money. Quote
peter t Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 Not bad considering it is about $300 to get an old one redone and then wouldn't look as good. Quote
potter260 Posted March 22, 2013 Author Posted March 22, 2013 New Wheels arrived will be good to get back on the ground. Second hand tyres at the moment until it gets registered. So i can test fit different sizes to get the ones i prefer. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Loving the black wheels, this is gunna look mean! Quote
potter260 Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 Slowly coming together..... I have been waiting on shocks because when I purchased the first lot of konis they sent 2 years ago were the wrong ones but these ones needed packing to fit properly. Also parts from america to show up. So now the front suspension and steering is all back together with new rubbers and boots. Still need to put the sway bar and brake callipers. Wheels are a close fit only mm to the spring perch. The rear suspension i will tackle tomorrow. Quote
potter260 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Rear struts back in and now it can be pushed around again. Quote
