MaygZ Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I'm doing it again. Growing the most ridiculous moustache known to man. It's day 5 and my wife hates it, my daughter wont be seen in public with me - so I'm on track If you would like to sponsor me - and possibly have some input into the style and shape of said moustache - please go to: http://au.movember.com/mospace/1093360/ Regards MaygZ I would like to beat my team mates fund raising Quote

peter t Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Good on you mate. Looks like the race is on. http://au.movember.com/mospace/806272/ Quote
PZG302 Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Next year maybe there should be a AusZcar team, I'm doing the Movember thing myself with the work team. My little bit to put something in as I used the services of a great councillor to get me through the loss of my partber to cancer a few years ago. Quote
MaygZ Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 The site is up and running. A small donation will go a very long way in the battle against prostate cancer and the ever increasing problem of depression. Quote
MaygZ Posted November 6, 2010 Author Posted November 6, 2010 Thanks little bro'. I certainly didn't expect you to donate that much. Thank you very much. MaygZ Quote
luvemfast Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Is that seriously 5 days growth? Yeah, that would take me close to the full nonth of Movember Quote
MaygZ Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 If I'm completely honest, I didn't shave for halloween Quote
peter t Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Catching up to you Simon. Only $20 behind. Watch out. Quote
MaygZ Posted November 13, 2010 Author Posted November 13, 2010 A very big THANK YOU to all who have donated. It's now getting to the length that is starting to get annoying, but it's worth iot. Does anyone else find that they are constantly touching it? Just not used to it being there, I guess. It is still open for donations. Please don't feel that you have to make a large donation: $5 is welcome and appreciated. For those over 40, don't forget to get tested for prostate cancer. You no longer need to be violated (unless you want to ) as it's now a simple blood test. Stay healthy and happy MaygZ Quote
madz Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 Does anyone else find that they are constantly touching it? ;D That line made me want to donate... Done! Quote
C.A.R. Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 My cousin (who is also doing Movember) looks rather like a younger version of you Simon! Quote
benny Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 haha... kinda true!! Maygz we need an updated pic!! Quote
gilltech Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Would like to donate to this cause, do you have direct deposit to an account as an alternative to credit card? Quote
MaygZ Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Would like to donate to this cause, do you have direct deposit to an account as an alternative to credit card? Gilly, thank you. I think all the donations need to go through the website. I suspect that this is to avoid integrity problems further done the track. If it makes you feel any better, I have had no problems with using a credit card on the Movember site. I trust them. See how you go. I would like to avoid making donations on someone's behalf, Peter T might be more flexible on this matter. Still goes to the same cause! MaygZ Quote
MaygZ Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Here is an update. Doesn't look like much has changed. As it gets long and scraggy, I've been trimming it up a fair bit. Last night I decided to run the handle bars a bit wider, so we'll see how it goes. Either way it looks rediculous, so it's off soon!! A week and a bit to go, but I hope the money from the many donations lasts longer and achieves more than this excuse for a Mo. MaygZ Remember: Donating is easy. Click the link in the first post and follow the prompts. $5 will suffice and if lots do it it all adds up. Maybe they will get the lood test 100% reliable, so no more ... you know what They don't even buy you dinner first, no flowers and they never call the next day!! Quote
peter t Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Cash,Direct debit no worries as I put the money in with my own credit card and print a reciept in the persons name and fax,e-mail or hand the offical reciept to them. If its cash I don't give it to the wife to bank against the card just spend it on the Z. I have included a updated pic with my own Z hat that took 2 sec to make. Quote
MaygZ Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Peter, your mostache makes me hear 'bom chika wah wah'. Looking very retro porn Quote
MaygZ Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 Just a quick reminder that donations will still be gratefully accepted. $5-10 will go a long way. Remember, you donation just might be the one that changes the current test to a more acceptable one .... unless you don't want the change to occur Quote
peter t Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Peter, your mostache makes me hear 'bom chika wah wah'. Looking very retro porn Yours will be that colour one day Simon unless you use Just For Men. Quote
