Hi everyone, I am a bit of a Datsun collector, and have recently decided to go for a nice early 240z. They are an amazing car and I am certainly not regretting getting into one. They are just so different to driving a roadster (obviously), and they really feel like a real car rather than a toy.

I have been lurking about your site for a while and am really impressed by the 'community' nature and willingness to help others!

Just a quick query, has anyone come across good online PDF's for Workshop manuals or parts manuals. I found the Xenons30 site which was great, and the microfiche styled parts site (I forget the name) which wasn't at all user friendly...

Anyways...Hi! Speak to you soon

I've got PDF's of all the old Datsun stuff from the early 1960's through to the late 1970's. Sing out if there's something specific you're after.

Welcome.

I agree about the community of this forum.  It never ceases to amaze me how far some will go to help.  It really does make it 'special'.  Enjoy

This was going to be a response to a PM, but I decided to put it out there to see if there were othes who needed anything (I'm going to regret this...)

I have a hard copy 1973-update edition 240Z parts manual, but I don't think I've got a genuine Nissan workshop manual for the S30 series. I've got Haynes 240Z & 280ZX(T) manuals. As far as what I've got on PDF is concerned, it's a fair collection - everything from the Model 31 Cedric (1963), 410 Bluebird (1964), 510/N510/P510 Bluebird, S40/A30 Gloria, Junior, VG60 Patrol, President, 180B (610), 200B (810), A10 Violet, GPA10 Stanza, 520/521/620/780 Trucks, Violet (710), A320 Cabstar, 1000, 1200, 120Y (Sunny B210), Sunny B310, C10/C110/C210 Skyline (inc. GC10/GC110 GT-R's), C20 Sunny Truck, C30/130/230 Laurel, C80 Truck, C141/C240 Caball, C340 Caball/Civilian, E10/F10 Cherry, E20 Caravan (Urvan), F20 Cabstar/Homer, V610/G610 Bluebird-U, GC240/GC340 Echo/Micro Bus, S30/HS30/PS30 (1972-73), S30/GS30 (1974-), N10 Pulsar, PB110/PB210 Sunny Excellent 1400, S10 Silvia, a 1963 Prince which I can't identify, S50 Prince Skyline, SP311 Roadster, T20/T640/T641 Homer, T40/T65 Prince Clipper, and T43 Prince to the T44/T440 Prince Miler Truck...

Ben,

Awesome collection!!

But does anyone have the pdf's for a 1970 workshop manual and a 240z parts manual??

Is anyone here into Princes? I noticed yesterday that the big treasure trove of 3-5 cars is still under a lean-to in the countryside!!

I love Prince's - I've been after a project GT-B for years. I've just never been able to find one... :(

If you know of one CSP311, please let me know!

lol - it was a bitsa when Pete bought it. And although I wouldn't go the same route, it's probably the 'meanest' GT-B in the land.

:)

Sure is - but not as many photo's as I should have...

Here are the 4 iterations of powerplant she has had. The first one is the matching numbers L24 (currently a fully genuine rebuilt short-block in the shed). The second one is after it was force fed by a TO4, the next 2 are the L28 that is still fitted (but getting an upgrade).

Crikey, something in common.  csp311 you have achieved what none of us thought possible.  Well done.  ;D

Thanks...I think.

I think there may be a GT of some description in this treasure trove, aswell as a couple of the 1500 skylines and a WAGON!!! too

Anyways, getting back to my request for an early workshop manual and a parts manual...lol

Ben, any outside piccies, is it all super straight and fancy?

No workshop manual - sorry...

And I'd like to think so :)

(The wheels are now 16x7/16x8 8-spoke Charcoal Superlites)

The 3rd photo was from when it was entered in Small Car Sunday 2005. She's been in the shed since 2006, so I don't really have many recent photos.

Ben,

It looks awesome...very nice...

How do you set the values on these things?

That would have to be worth 25-35k?

Wowzers

love that interior shot

It's currently insured for $25k - but I'll be getting it re-valued sometime soon.

A couple more shots before we return to our regular programming:
