But I guess you hadn't really checked the timing or anything as it was only first start. Gotta be happy with that for a cheap L28. Quote

Ran really well, found few bedding in issues alternator bolts, fuel pump etc and the carbs need to be re jeted for the L28 all very minor things. Its a strong motor, once it cams on at 3,500 (std 240z A grind) you can clearly hear the exhaust note change. Quote

It used to be called Yellow Slug but now she needs a new name. I had so much fun rebuilding this motor and learnt even more along the way. Thanks for the feedback Guys. Quote

Got some Kameari bits coming from the US, along with another P90 head from NSW, and I've just fitted a 60mm TB. I plan on having my 'mild' turbo engine back in one piece by the end of next moth, and hopefully turning 300HP in plenty of time for the nationals. Quote

Need to send the block to a shop though, gotta get the oil pickup and dipstick converted to suit the front bowl sump to suit the R30 Skyline... Also need to decide whether to boost it or N/A (gotta decide sooon!!!) Quote
