What weighs what?

I had the door off the car yesterday and weighed it bare. Then i thought why can't we start a thread and when you take something off your Zed or know what something weighs you could post here.

 

Bare door weighed 13 Kgs.

hmm given my zed is mostly still a shell (still, better get off my A and "get her it done") I could weigh up the later 260z 2 seater parts will be interesting to see which parts weigh more. Not all my parts are stock now though with different suspension, brakes etc

Not a bad idea Scoota. Probably need to categorise it was well. Wheels, suspension, motors, Trans, Body, drive line, etc etc. I know I weigh some stuff going on or off my car.

Stereo, amp & speakers 20kg. Gone. Roll Cage (Chrome molly) in 40kg.

Hmm, sounds like we'll have to have a weighing day at my house Scoota.. Maybe I can weigh the metal I put back into the shell to replace the rust?

RB20DET with 5spd tailshaft, wiring and power steering, aircon compressor and condensor and a pallet $350kg. hope that helps for RB conversions.

260z dash (no fan or heater radiator but everything else) 15kg

240z dash (empty , not even the gluve box lid) 6kg

 

240z Bare front guard (with nose, no headlight etc) 7kg

240z bare door (no mirror, glass, winder, chrome rail, etc. nothing but the steal) 12kg

240z seat (early seat type) 14kg

240z front bumper 4kg

 

240z front brakes (2x disc & 2x calipers with pads) 19kg

Wilwood front brakes (2x 300mm disc & 2x wilwood 4pot calipers with pads) 16kg

 

240z Fiber glass bonnet 5kg

260z steel bonnet 15kg
