Hi Brently,

Where abouts ACT(ish) are you? How close to buying one? The ACT boys meet every so often, so maybe we might see you in a 2+2 next meet?!?!

Hello and welcome, Goooood foresight in sourcing a 2+2 when I was 25 (long time ago) I purchased a 2 seater new, held it for 10 years and sold it on and regretted the day I sold it ..... I had the opportunity to by a 2+2 new then but didn't build in my future into my buying decisions, searched eons for a replacement but even in the late eighties all the Zed S30's  I looked at to buy were nearly all rooted and if I had purchased sensibly I would still have an original 2+2 today which by the way in my opinion is a far superior daily driver than sitting on the diff whine in the 2 seater coupe. Go for it you will never look back but I warn you, it took me until 1989 to find the perfect S30 replacement and have held it 2+2 ever since but they are getting hard to get replacement parts for a 2+2 as compared to the coupe's I think we might have to start wrecking 2 seaters for parts cars for 2+2 hehehehe :) Lynton 8)

Thanks guys, it's nice to receive a warm welcome.

If I am realistic with myself I have to admit it will be a bit before I (a) have accumulated the $ and (b) found the right vehicle.  So I won't be rocking up to meets for.... 18 months, longer, I dunno.  :-\  As soon as possible though.  I am in Bungendore and didn't realise there was an ACT chapter.  That makes the wait even more frustrating.

The welsh?  I'm intrigued already.

Thanks again.

Some say he drinks dry ice to warm him up on a cold Canberra morning, and leaves footprints exactly like a Toyo Proxes T1R...

haha, we are reffering to one of the regular guys in town with a 260z-2seater.

There is an ok silver 240z in Bungendore. (good starter car) she'd probably sell if you approached her. Hopefully she still lives there ??

Her name was Leanne (kiwi chick), she used to work at the Royal (top-end pub)..I used to ogle at her 240z. Ask the owner of the pub if shes still about. There is also a 240z complete shell & parts with tacky flares in the house next door to the memorial hall, you can see it in the back yard when the markets are on. Its been there for 20 years, & believe it or not its pretty much rust free.

I lived in Bungers for 6 years.

Bungers & Mash!!!!

I think he was after a 2+2. If you got kids is very handy. I know mine love to go for a spin in the Zed.  :D

Yeah, I've seen that 240 next door to hall - had my undivided attention while wife went through markets.  Haven't seen te silver number though.  Anyway, 2+2 is the go for me, although galderi's 2 X 240 has some merit  ;D

or maybe a roof rack......Beverly Hill Billies style :) I'm sure the kids would love it. My father used to own a furtiture store. I used to ride around in the back of the truck in full view of the cops. Never got hassled. and it was only in the early 80s  :o
