Cdr Zero Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Argh, it's terrible. I feel really sorry for the guy who owns this car. :-\ Sneak preview: http://my350z.com/forum/lounge-off-topic/389628-horrible-body-shop-experience-details-inside-350z-ruined.html Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 6, 2008 Moderators Posted October 6, 2008 Biggest mistake he made was to pay AND sign it off....He better get a good lawyer son, like that song..... Quote
NZeder Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 What is wrong with a stock 350z - why put a body kit on it? (this coming from a man who has put flares on his zed, however steel flares) Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Photos weren't working for me, so heres another 350Z I found on teh interwebs. 350Z wrecked by driver. http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f68/crash-mid-ohio-scca-t2-nissan-61500/ Quote
C.A.R. Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 The owner is the idiot. $750 odd for a full bodykit fitment & spray job by a 18yo kid still at school?! He deserved to have his car ruined. Quote
sco_aus Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 hahaha, i didnt read the 18yo in school part. Suck it up in that case. As for the $750 part, well I have never been to the states, so i wouldn't know what a paint job is worth over there. Quote
modular9 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 currently 750 USD is 1,060.24 AUD ( as i type rate is about 70 cents ) SOOOO.... Too cheap. Especially when you say that a secondhand 350z is sitting around 30 k AUD. So you are going to give a 30k car to an 18 yr old kid to put a bodykit on for 1K. Owner needs a check up from the neck up. Seriously bells should have been ringing at the price. Owner says he heard some good and bad things about the bodyshop and despite the bad things went ahead anyway ?? Nice to see we probably still could get some americans believing we still ride kangaroos to work. ;D Quote
Hunter Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Well we actually ride Wombats to work down here in Tasmania. It is a more stable platform for our two heads. Quote

sco_aus Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 lol, me too. You are correct, however things are a lot cheaper over there, therefore, that may have been the average price for a paint job. We dont have as many people, so less purchases, less people to paint so the price of labour is more expensive etc, thats why I wasn't sure. Quote
