Zeddophile Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 dunno - that raised bonnet kind of hints at a 3.2litre L series using a diesel block to me..... Quote
Toecutter Posted January 8, 2006 Author Posted January 8, 2006 Good work Lurch. I did'nt see that pic, not sure about any of the other bits on the car. Got a sort of Porsche look to it I reckon. Quote

thehelix112 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 IMHO, a wank unless he has 14"+ wide rims under the back of that. Rear wing is poo. Carby is poo. Long nose is poo. Yet still not as poo as my car. Dave Quote
Kit Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 At first I thought it looked amazing but after glanceing again it is a bit over the top... Could anyone reccomend me some websites that stock body kits for the 260z 2+2? EDIT: Where can I get those head light covers with chrome trim as well? Quote

NZeder Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 EDIT: Where can I get those head light covers with chrome trim as well? If you are after ZG light covers like those in the pic - you will have to shell out much coin for genuine Nissan ones (I do not know of a replica at all, I had a sheet metal worker look at mine and as the band is not chromed metal but high grade stainless steel to make an exact replica would cost a truck lot to setup the die (as you could not shape this with out a die and a large press) so replica's are out of the question in the same material as the factory units) So with that said when I got from my Japan I was sold the supplier only had 3 sets left, and that was Oct last year. You good luck finding some now. I know your next question how did I get mine from Japan - easy visit a local JapImport/Performance shop they have the purchase contact in Japan show them a web page (usually of a supplier you have googled etc) asking for the part you are looking for - the guy I am working with still visit Japan and is a ex Nissan Japan employee so I think helps in my case. So you next question what web site suppier has these listed. Here a few link for you. http://www.datsun-freeway.com/products/products_s30part.html looks like they have sold out of the stock head light buckets covers (not ZG covers, not sure if they sell them) http://www.japan-datsun-service.com/S30-1.html They have some listed on their site but don't say if the are in or out of stock http://www.aritaspeed.com/catalogue/aero.html These guys list them but only if you are purchasing a 5 piece G-Nose replica, they are not listed seperately so that will cost you $1000 + or - a bit + shipping Hope this helps and good luck Edit: I have sent an old set of ZG light covers (cracked and missing one of the SS bands) to a member of hybridz.org for him to replicate - he is talking about doing the bands in fibreglass and then just painting them with this new chrome paint - will keep you posted, however again he was quoted a lot even to replicate the covers with out the bands Quote

I have to agree OTT, each to their own - I think he should have stuck to moding a Mopar or the like. However I do like the G-Noses but this one just does not look right with the big lower section.
