76 260Z Rhs Door

[260z blues]

My current door has significant rust around the hinge area and some along the bottom and thinking it may be better to start with a new door.

Its a 76 2 seater so not 100% sure what doors would be exchangeable to suit the different latch mechanisms and disgn.

 

Any help on parts and info would be awesome.

Hard to say with just one photo re shell condition, but the glass is in it & presumably the winder gear so that's probably fair. It's sold now anyway.

 

But you need to do what Brabham advised & post a photo of your door latch - early & late 260Z doors are quite different & not interchangeable & if your car is a '76 then it's right in the middle so who knows which it is.

Make sure you look at the slam plate at the back of the door opening to see that it matches the shape of you latch

There are 2 different shapes...

Also 2+2 doors and 2 seater doors are different

That white door must be off a later 260 as the latch is completely different to my '74.
