Bonkers Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Is anyone from here going to this year's classic (over 25 years old cars ) show ? Word is there could be around 700 cars and a few Z's in among that number. . But it will be very hot . Corner of Earshaw and Tufnell at Banyo after 7.30am. Quote
Bonkers Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Big thanks to ZCCQ for their tent. If you were out in the sun you knew about it. The temperature on parked cars at 10.30 was getting into fried egg territory. Dave R may be able to give an exact reading The Daughter didn't have any sun screen on and is a bit red now. Some of us boiled the radiator just waiting to get into the place.Sorry that I missed you Scott if you were there. So a few pics from today. More to come later. Quote
dat2kman Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Ha ha, a Mighty Boy amongst the zzz's! Too hot today, most were going by 10.30 Quote

Dave R may be able to give an exact reading yep it was hot, the highest reading was 77 degree on the rear 1/4's of a few of the Z's. even with the heat it still was a record crowd i reckon about 700 cars and the June show is even bigger its on Sunday the 4th of June Quote
MichaelT Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 The Datsun Sports Owners Association of Qld had a little tent envy.... 24 Dat 1 Quote
24 Dat Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Officially the numbers were over 800 cars, they ran out of entry forms and they had 800 printed, the June All Japanese Day should top 1000 Quote
d3c0y Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 It's not exactly a quality 800 any more though is it... It's basically just a downshift meet now, with some nice classics as the minority. MichaelT 1 Quote

Given there were Toranas and Geminis (badged, not isuzu) there. Wasn't sure what was going on there. Quote
