PeterAllen Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 After a loooooooooooooong build I'm just about ready to seek engineering approval. I've been in contact with the engineer from the word go so I'm not expecting any drama with the big ticket items but I expect 'Murphy' to be there. Did anyone who has been through an approval process have any annoying minor issues arise? Thanks. Quote
KatoKid Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Fingers crossed for you Pete......you're paving the way for me! Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted September 20, 2016 Moderators Posted September 20, 2016 (edited) Yep, a blown number plate light bulb. (I was to concerned with the big items to thoroughly check the little things) Good Luck, I don't think you will need it. Edited September 21, 2016 by PB260Z Quote
CBR Jeff Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Yep good luck Peter. Hope all goes to plan. Jeff Quote
Cozza Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 As per the comments above, your attention to detail through this build has been exceptional. I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours. Look forward to seeing some plates on her Mate. Quote
dat240z Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 My prop valve knob had to be taken off to stop adjustment. Other than that if youve been in contact regularly during the build itll be sweet. Quote
rb25240z Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 My two issues were heat shielding to brake components and 115db exhaust. Baffle plate (with non penetrating bird poo welds for easy removal) fixed the noise issue. Aluminum plates and high temp sleeves fixed the heat issues. Mine wasn't interested in rego related stuff.
