VintageNissanEnthusiast Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 (edited) Hey guys. I am a bit of a novice but looking to replace this tired worn thing. Any advice on the best way to do this/ where to source new cover? Thanks! note: Looks like the whole centre console could do with a replacement haha XD Edited March 23, 2016 by VintageNissanEnthusiast Quote

andyk_79 Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Pretty much every Z car part supplier out there sells these in some form and there are a lot on ebay too. Google is your friend on this one. A lot of us on here have at one time or another ordered parts from these guys: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/classic08e01a VintageNissanEnthusiast 1 Quote

GongZ Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 It looks like your car is missing the hand brake boot too. Some suppliers sell the gear lever and handbrake boots together. Both boots can be found in vinyl (as original) or leather. VintageNissanEnthusiast 1 Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted March 23, 2016 Administrators Posted March 23, 2016 Just an FYI I wouldn't turf the console it can be repaired. NOS ones are getting super expensive too. Dashboard restoration shops can repair them to a very high standard. VintageNissanEnthusiast 1 Quote

Moderators PB260Z Posted March 24, 2016 Moderators Posted March 24, 2016 Hi, Before you order a new boot, I would make sure the retaining clips are OK and can be reused. Would be a shame to order a boot then find that you will need the clips as well. Cheers PB Quote
VintageNissanEnthusiast Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 Will definitely check on that Peter thanks! Quote
