potter260 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 My dad is looking to purchase this 1982 Skyline. Needs a new windscreen and radiator and a few other bits and pieces? Whats a ball park price? Mostly original Cheers Mitch Quote
240z71 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to say otherwise but im pretty sure this thing will have an EFI e88 head? The one the racers want for its small combustion chamber. If thats the case then the head alone is valueable from what im told. Thanks Matt Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted February 27, 2016 Administrators Posted February 27, 2016 Unregistered and no road worthy about $500 I'd say... Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted February 27, 2016 Moderators Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Hi The car itself is worth SFA. A running L24E is worth $$ to anyone looking to upgrade an S30 EFI I agree with Gav, about $500 or so seems fair. Cheers PB Edited February 27, 2016 by PB260Z Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted February 27, 2016 Moderators Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Yeah he's asking $500Hi If the plan is to get it back on the road, my biggest question would be. What are the "few bits & pieces" needed, where can they be sourced from and at what cost ? Edited February 27, 2016 by PB260Z Quote
road rider Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Maybe try and negotiate on the price, especially if it doesn't run. If it does run, it may be worth the $500. It may just need a good tune and service as well as the usual rwc items such as windscreen, brake rotors and pads and tyres. Car looks fairly neat and tidy from the photos and the interior looks very clean too. dat2kman Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 The 5 speed gearboxes in these is somewhat desireable by the Datsun 1600 sedan boys. Second hand, no issues, they fetch $350-450 Knwn as a "Stumpy" box Quote
