Well I have a nice set of leather covers fitted to a set of seats from a 1976 2+2 and then went to fit them to my 1975 2+2.....darn but they are different.

Now am in need of a set rails or even whole seats if they are still attached....in Brisbane would be nice.

The ones I have in my photo are the wrong ones

Those look rather different to my 260 2-seater - mine just have the vertical projecting bolts (with the plastic spacers) without those formed feet. I didn't realize the 2+2 seats are different, not to mention the floor frame.

Thanks Alan, could you just post a photo of them first so I can check they are the same. The early ones (1975) have the rail bent down on both ends (bolt on a sloped section) and the 1976 have the front sloped and the rear flat.

G'day mate, the rear section that the bolt passes thru has a rivet that secures it to the seat rail.Think that if you ground/drilled the rivet out enabling replacement with  front units which I can grind/drill out for you from the seat rails I have. You can either weld or bolt ,or if you know some place that can re-rivet it for you if you wish to retain originality. If you want to go this way or as a temporary measure until you get the ones you desire I'm happy to help you out. Cost will be $25 donation to web site.

                                                      Regards: Alan.

What do they look like? The ones you need?

Sadly I do not have any to take a photo of and as much as I look around the net I cannot find any photos of my type. I can say the photo that Alan put above are the wrong ones ^-^

They need a turned down bolt on section on both ends instead of one turned down and the other mounting on the top face of the rail on the floor...clear ::)

I was mainly asking so I could keep an eye out and let you know when my spidey sense was tingling haha.
