Gordo Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Great videos Hung Do. Looks like you had some good battles. The Corvettes look as though they are brake limited . When is your next race meeting? Quote
hmd Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 Those Corvettes are big block heavy V8, they are a handful to handle. Those Vette drivers are actually good experienced racers. That's the good thing about the Group S every car has strengths and weaknesses. My next race would be Sandown Historic in November. Quote
luvemfast Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Great vids Hung. Watching a PI vid from 2013, what were you driving then? Why the swap of marque? Unfortunately, its hard for the Z's to be up at the pointy end! Quote

hmd Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 Why the swap of marque? Unfortunately, its hard for the Z's to be up at the pointy end! Swapping for Japanese reliability, my friend Jeff had been racing a 260z with much better reliability than my Alfa and he's been egging me on for 4 years now. With group S to be at the pointy end you need to build your own engine and have big gonads like Jimmy Flett or have enough money to own a v8supercars team like Rusty French. I'm In it for fun as you always have someone to battle with doesn't matter what your speed is. Gav be careful it's very addictive. Anyway here's my pb lap Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted August 12, 2015 Moderators Posted August 12, 2015 an unreliable Alfa Is there any other type ? Quote
