Nice to see these hard to find parts being replicated http://zclub.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25284 Looks like the thread images can only be viewed by memebers of that forum. But if something like a 432 twin tailpipe was readily availiable (assuming they aren't already) in Australia I would imagine a few buyers would be around. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 21, 2015 Author Posted March 21, 2015 Sorry, I've contacted the OP of that thread. Hopefully some images and info will be up here shortly. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted March 22, 2015 Administrators Posted March 22, 2015 I see this style of exhaust on Yahoo! Auctions all the time. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 22, 2015 Author Posted March 22, 2015 This looks to be anything from full systems to just the rear 432 style muffler. Quote
Sean Dezart Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Thanks Gareth, hi guys. What is the price of the version found on sale in Japan ? This silencer is merely an add-on to my existing system although I'd imagine it can be made to fit most. I don't want to abuse your forum - this seems to be a general interest section. I'd be happy to post up in the correct place details of the 3x 6-2 s-steel manifolds and s-steel exhaust. Quote
HS30-H Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 The above two photos are mine, and show my NOS original Nissan twin pipe "432" style exhaust on my 432-R replica project car. The photos were pinched from my project thread on the gtroc.uk forum. So they don't depict anybody's product except Nissan's. Quote

I realised they won't show up anyway here unless you're logged into zclub.net site (basically you need the logged in cookie set on your machine). Otherwise the images are broken. You can see lots of similar exhausts on Yahoo! Auctions here: http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/search?auccat=2084201980&tab_ex=commerce&ei=utf-8&p=s30&x=0&y=0 Example #1. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n140855119 This system is a full system around $2,500 AU http://page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g137259715 Looks great. Reinhard makes a similar system. http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c499501639 http://www.reinhard.co.jp/en/shop/pdf02/02_nissan_20141115.pdf Fujitsubo also makes a similar muffler. http://www.rhdjapan.com/fujitsubo-legalis-r-exhaust-muffler-nissan-fairlady-z-s30-hs30.html Quote

Alan - they were not pinched which implies theft - they were up on a public forum and I simply typed in Z432 exhaust - I honestly thought that the photos were from this car so nothing personal :https://straightspeed.wordpress.com/2012/12/28/datsun-z432/ They indicate the 'look' that I'm trying to attain but obviously don't match the real OEM part - for one thing mine will have a single, large entry pipe making it significantly different from those offered for sale on the Japnese sites. Nicked. Right-Click-And-Saved. Same thing. I'm being polite there. As far as I'm aware, they were only posted originally in my project thread on the gtroc.uk forum. If they have popped up anywhere else I'd be interested to see where. If you found them through Google or similar, surely a click-through would take you to the original source? I just searched for 'Z432 exhaust' using Google and they didn't come up. I'd have no objection to anyone using them if they were polite enough to ask first, but my main concern here is that it's an original NOS system and is - therefore - not what people are going to get if they order one of yours.... Sean Dezart Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Alan. Please may I use those photos (found whilst quickly and inattentively clicking) of a Nissan OEM 432 exhaust now fitted upon your replica ? I hope that you are reassured that these are NOT yet on sale and great lengths will be taken to ensure that future customers know exactly what they'll be getting because I don't con people and I want an easy life without any after-sales problems. I hope that my reputation and that of the products/cars I sell precedes me - it's VERY easy to ruin all that in this small Datsun world and especially now with the speed that word (and photos) can travel. I appreciate that your concern is not only for those customers but for me also - cheers. I ho,estly can't remember what I typed in or from which car they came...... :-[but this :https://www.google.fr/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&rlz=1C1VSNC_enFR576FR576&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=z432%20exhaust gets this :http://www.google.fr/imgres?imgurl=http://www.classiczcars.com/uploads/monthly_01_2010/post-3193-141508096147.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/34335-what-about-the-z432-r/&h=705&w=1024&tbnid=97YrGpxFE_VSHM:&zoom=1&tbnh=90&tbnw=131&usg=__YjoExOuq7jn2csbOQs1z5zUpxro=&docid=rlHwXTTM0ui5KM&sa=X&ei=sWoRVdy8BsrfaIiugegK&ved=0CCkQ9QEwAQ and I confess when I see a photo up in public....I feel it ceases to be 'private' property (probably shooting myself in the foot here....). andyk_79 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I can vouch for the workmanship on the Fujitsubo Legalis 432 style exhaust For anyone looking at a replica. Quote
Riceburner Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 I got my 432 style 'rear can' from Reinhard (twin 60mm in/out), but a few guys have contacted them after me and they are only willing to sell a complete stainless system. I like the idea behind these systems because you can by any piece you need without having to buy the whole system. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted March 25, 2015 Administrators Posted March 25, 2015 I can vouch for the workmanship on the Fujitsubo Legalis 432 style exhaust For anyone looking at a replica. How do you like the noise out of it? Quote
HS30-H Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Alan. Please may I use those photos (found whilst quickly and inattentively clicking) of a Nissan OEM 432 exhaust now fitted upon your replica ? By all means Sean, BUT... Please make sure it's clear that what's depicted is an original - NOS - mild steel factory twin pipe exhaust system. It's two pipes in, and two pipes out. They never join - even inside the 'can'. Different than yours, that is, as far as I understand, as yours are ONE in, two out and there must be a merge somewhere inside? Also mild steel vs stainless (?) and different pipe diameters (?). Don't underestimate the potential for misunderstanding by civilians... Quote
Sean Dezart Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Thanks Alan. Before I start selling them, I'll put up a caveat on that/those photos explaining to the 'civvies and divvies' that what I'm proposing is an end 'look' similar to that of the OEM Z432 and list the differences. Comapred to other systems quoted on this thread, mine will be quieter which sounds like it's for poofs BUT every year the limits are reducing as the legislation against noise poluution gets tougher and on a more sportier side, there's nothing worse than having paid and prepared for a track day and you get refused or thrown out later for exceeding thier limits. Still gonna be a wicked sound 'cos it's an inline Nissan sex (sorry, six) but needs must and anyone can weld on a drainpipe.......... Quote
Sean Dezart Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Information on the complete range may be found here : http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/13978-stainless-steel-exhaust-manifolds-exhaust-and-jdm-twin-pipe-rear-silencer/?p=182583 I have various videos of the exhaust note from several cars but can't upload here - if anyone is curious - please email me at : seanz@wanadoo.fr gav240z and Ponyo240z 2 Quote
