Looking at changing to a Patrol master cylinder.

Asked some brake places to copy the current lines from brake distribution block to where they'll actually be. But they don't really want to do it.

So was thinking I could just do it myself, if I had the right tools.

Anyone got some, local to eastern suburbs Melbourne, that I could borrow?

Thanks, Simon

My son Sam, know some brake guys who will make anything up for him - let me know if that helps and I'll put you in contact.

Cheers,

I want to do the swap at home. Not in a shop.

Which means it has to be done beforehand. So measurements and thinking need to be done.

Been to 2 brake places and they both only want to do straight pipes.

When I put my patrol master cylinder on I just moved the lines from front to rear ?

Like literally just bent them to swap them front to rear?

My brake lines bent quite easy was only a matter of a few minutes massaging them to fit and look tidy?

Maybe your brake lines are different?

Interesting, would have thought that minimising the amount of flexible line would be a priority. Whilst convenient wouldn't it have a change in pedal feel due to the slight expansion of hose under pressure?

Either Fleabay or your local brake specialist should be able to supply bundy tube in bare lengths.

Personally I just take my required measurements to a brake specialist and he makes up the required lengths for me.

Cheers
