1600dave Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I was up spectating last Easter, watching the F3's continually drop the lap record all weeked, Finally finished at 2:02 as mentioned above. They were absolutely flying, can't imagine a production car based racer doing the same speeds. Button's F1 was a demo thing, not counted as a race record. Quote

The taxi commentators love to quote the qually records as the fastest laps ever but they mean nothing in the record books. In the 12 hour the lap record was reset at a 2:03.309 set by the Pheonix racing Audi R8 Quote
