44014 Posted January 31, 2015 Author Posted January 31, 2015 Yep koni red shocks. Twist the shaft and it makes them harder/softer Quote
dat2kman Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Koni Reds are an oil shock, they are fully rebuildable, and to start off, run at softest setting. I have two sets for one car, one set had never been fitted ie;New, I sent them, as well as the 12 year old very well used and raced on set off the get Shock Dyno-ed. Both sets came back with same graphing at both softest and hardest setting. Fair Y impressed. Agents are in Melbourne. Will bang again. A+. Quote

peter t Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I got a pair of red fronts for $195 and no one wants them. Good luck with your sale. Quote
44014 Posted March 11, 2015 Author Posted March 11, 2015 Now out of the car and can ship anywhere in aus for the $650.00 Quote
dat2kman Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 What is it here? These are at a fairly good price, and perfect for anyone wanting straight old fashioned simple drop in and go stuff! What, are complicated coil over adaptations all the hotness? Once you have set your coil over to height, you never play with it again! Can vouch for Koni reds, never wear out, if you damage, fully rebuildable, and even on softest rebound setting is still way better than most of the crud shockers out there! Quote
d3c0y Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 These were in my car and i have the original receipt for when they were installed. They would legitimately have under 2000km of use on them. Quote
Yo-Yo Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 would have snapped these up but my car is a 76 Quote
Triptych Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I was same boat my car is a 77 and 2+2 but I am picking up a 240z hopefully on Saturday. Quote
dat2kman Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 What is the body length, verall length, and fully compressed length on the Kons? Diameter? Total free height of springs, wire diameter, and no f coils? ( Kings site prob has the poundage rating?) These measure, ents, when compared to later 260Z equivalent kay not be all that different? Kings do list two spring types in various Std and Low config, for 240 and 260. Quote
