I have a purchase pending on a 240Z and the first thing that needs to be done to it is having the wheels replaced as in my opinion, the current wheels that are fitted are a crime against humanity and ruin the look of the car.

Just thought I'd put the feelers out and see if anyone has anything lying around that they want to move on. I know they have been done to death but I'm thinking along the lines of Superlites, Panasports etc in 15x6 or 15x7. The car in question has standard suspension, no flares etc. so I would need something that will suit this setup.

My head is still spinning from the number of different threads I have read over the past week in regards to what are the best size/offset wheel to suit, but it seems that zero offset or very close to would be needed if going a 6 or 7 inch wide rim. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here.

Why not fit a set of temporary rims like the peanut shaped period correct looking 14" ones? They are the kind of thing people are happy to get rid of.

Or you could go for the globe wheels here?

PS: Pics or didn't happen. Even if it has hideous wheels.

I saw those but if I was to get some globe style rims, I would prefer the type without the bolts around the outside. But hey, I probably can't be too fussy if it want something second hand and reasonably priced.

I probably would consider some 14" jelly bean style or hot wires etc as they probably would suit the current look of the car.

I do have some pics but don't want to post anything until a deal is finalised. All good things take time! But in regards to the current wheels fitted to the car, old crappy chromed steel rims are what's in place at the moment.

You may find someone will want them, everyone has different tastes and that stops things getting boring.

Some even like chrome wire wheels on Z's  ;)

Thanks Mr. Camo.

I had seen those ones on gumtree but I'm not really a fan of that style. The others you posted are a newer style than what I'm wanting. Geez I sound like a picky bastard!

Has anybody else out there got those Enkei Compe's? If so, did you get them through MSA? The wheels themselves seem reasonably priced but I imagine shipping would be a bit of a killer.

Check ebay, enkei wheels aren't exactly hard to come by...

15x8 0 offset with 225 wide tyres or skinnier will fit without any modification to your guards. You might want to lower it to make it look properly awesome though 8)

Thanks for the tip. I had seen some of them on ebay but they were more more expensive than MSA, and the shipping cost they had listed was ridiculously huge. And they don't come with the Z centre caps  ;)

Have these for sale if you are interested?

Thanks for the offer. I was eyeing off your for sale thread. I might give you a shout if I don't come across anything else that fits the bill.

um both!

I have a new set in boxes and can either sell you mine or the next set.....On their way.

check them out, do a giggle search "15x7 superlites 240z" stacks of results.

I have pics of mine still in box...on old phone, (just got a new one last week!)

comes with centre caps and new nuts.....Wheel nuts!

If your serious, I can arrange something depending on how soon you want them landed in WA.
